My Dad is a retired Royal Navy SAS Commander.. doesn't mean he can kick my ass. Right, but having all those certs and me working for small businesses for a living means I dont know what im talking about? If you had bothered to read my previous posts you'd would know that already. It's like telling a morbidly obese guy what food tastes great, HE ALREADY KNOWS!! @Ghostrider359: I never said I had problems with XP, I said du

I know I wouldn't comment but I have to reply again to this: Why would a small or large company have someone build a custom box for them when you can get a business class Dell Optiplex 3.4Ghz Duo Core, 1GB RAM, 80GB Hard drive, DVD/CD-RW, etc for less than $700. This price includes a 17" UltraSharp FP Monitor AND a 3 Year, Next Business day, ON-SITE warranty. Small computer shops and newegg cant compare with that. Having the NBDOS warranty is a great value. It does

Are you trying to tell me that you are going to get a "Home built" system that will run Vista, nicely, with all the specs that I provided (Including ON-Site Warranty and OS)for under $700. No way, now how.. If so, it's going to be using junk parts and will cost more in the long run. You bet your ass I am, www.newegg.com can be your best friend when shopping for computer parts. Not every business wants to spend craploads of money to go thru contracts

Most small businesses generally like to pay as little as possible. And to many of them buying 20+ 700$ machines is unacceptable, trust me I've been there.

Yes, large companies are knocking down the doors of their local "Joe's PC Barn" to have a custom built rig for their thousands of employees to use.... Right, and whats to say smaller companies dont? You think there are more large corporations or more small businesses? Cant say I have ever heard of Joe's PC Barn, they any good? I prefer newegg, a little more reputable I think.

Hmm, I wonder what the name for Global Warming was 100 years ago when this happened? Everyone does realize that every once in awile the sun likes to change a bit? Its not always at a constant rate. And the Goreacle is a fake, his mansion uses 20 times the amount of electricity than the average American home, lets not forget his private jet which puts out more crap than a 737.

My response, as always, will be minimal. If you enjoy using Windows, then use Windows. If you enjoy using a Mac, then use a Mac. As long as you enjoy yourself what's it matter what others think? Very true, BUT: Lets face it, the only reason Apple is around is due to the iPod. They are their own worst enemy, charging nearly double what a PC would go for and its now LITERALLY the same hardware, they make you buy their hardware ONLY and

MS has to foot the blame somewhere..They promoted and released an OS that was nowhere near ready to BE supported by the third party, personally I think it's bit them in the ass a bit. Riiiight, and that explains why nVidia's display drivers are horrid and ATi's are miles ahead? Don't make excuses for them man.

Windows Vista is not a Windows ME, they took 5 years to develope it, and it cost them about 10 Billion to build. Its not even in the same ballpark as ME, Vista craps all over XP. It's hands down the better of the two. Don't blame Microsoft for horrible hardware support, blame the 3rd party that is supposed to make the drivers! *HINT* NVIDIA! 10 Billion on "another Windows ME" is a little obsured. Im sure any bugs with the OS Microsoft will clean up ASAP.

WB6 will include XP enhancements too though not titlebar blurring before you get excited. Even though I don't use XP there are a few things im curious if WB6 will support? Such as Menu bar skinning (currently in XP uses the classic colors when using Per Pixel), and transparent rebar/menubar backgrounds?

I don't know why Microsoft chose to do this, its pointless to restrict stuff like that if you ask me. If it drives sales to Vista and more profit for stockholders, it makes sense. Everyone knows Home Basic is worthless. It has nothing

Home Basic is restricted. The Aero theme present on it is not even transparent let alone have blur effects. I don't know why Microsoft chose to do this, its pointless to restrict stuff like that if you ask me.
