I usually use Seagate but at the moment my main hard drive is a Maxtor and I've had no issues, it's been running without any problems for roughly a year now. In a matter of 6 months I went through 3 Western Digital Drives, so I'd stay away from them at all costs.
Astyanax
Bah, so its got high failure rates, with a 3 year full warrenty now who cares? Eat that Sony. By the way, Ive had mine since January and it's working fine!
Dude... it has been released :/ - Beware though, your tray icons will double in size when using it.
If im going to spend 600 dollars it sure as hell wont be on a phone.
I'm confused...we already put shadows on the frames and start menu...what does this do?Would it add to the existing shadow? It does not apply it to the Start Menu. Only the Windows get the shadow. I think it's mainly for those skins that don't have shadows on the frames. Say you dont wanna bother with shadows when making a frame, just add that little bit in and it uses Vista's shadows from the default theme. I'm using them on Corvette right now and it actuall
I think it would be cool to have controls over the shadows too, like which direction it comes from, the intensity levels and so on...
Oh good, I can add shadows to corvette.
Now we just need the ability to make UIS1 skins into UIS2 skins.
Wait what? That wasn't directed twords HIM, more like me being angry at the fact that Stardock would willingly release WB with a bug they knew exsisted. As if they really didnt care about it. If you guys knew of this "bug" why did you release wb with it? Not exactly a bright idea eh?
It doesn't seem that anyone else is having this problem.. Maybe if you asked for help you would get some. Get your eyes checked. https://forums.wincustomize.com/?aid=156135#1243016 If a skin sets a very large titlebar height, your system tray icons will also resize. This is true on XP and 64 bit Vista (though not 32 bit Vista) Why on earth did you guys do that?!
I wouldn't get all happy just yet. Last time I tried Windowblinds for Vista (x64) a few days ago... it has a nice bug that makes your system tray icons double the size.... very interestly odd bug if you ask me.
It is, when I went to About it lists >version number< x64 - And when I am under 32 bit (right now) it lists x86
Oh I forgot to mention that now my Favorite links (the left pane on explorer) Is completely broken. It's no longer working, and it was surely working fine before these 2 apps where installed. I'm just going to go back to 32 bit. But I thought I should post up the problems I am having so you guys can hopefully figure out whats wrong incase Im not the only person with these issues.
I'm having some pretty strange problems with Iconpackager and Windowblinds on Vista x64. For instance when I apply a skin through Windowblinds, once its applied my system tray icons change from 16 pixels to 32 pixels. In iconpackager when I apply a theme many of my desktop Icons are not changed along with numerious other ones. When I go to apply the default theme my secondary hard disk icon is Windows XP's hard drive icon. Other than that, AWESOME! <img src="http://
....These guys are located in Russia I think...... I don't mean to be a buzz kill here but you've got no jurisdiction or leverage to have them take that stuff down... They're just gonna look at you, spit in your face and laugh no doubt.
Works fine here on my X1950 XTX
And a BIG gripe for me, is how unlike IE7 (and firefox? i dont know), you cannot set it to always open new links in a new tab in the same window. So if a website has an A tag with a target set to a new window, i get an actual NEW WINDOW, which kinda defeats the purpose of tabbed browsing. Uhhm... wow? Open IE7, go to Internet Options. Once the options window opens under the General Tab look for Tabs near the lower middle - Click Settings.
I'll just repeat what I said on AeroXP. I bet after a few betas they'll get tired of not being able to get it to work right, so they'll do what they did with iTunes. Ask Microsoft for help.
Haha, you're asking for CursorXP when they haven't even released Windowblinds for Vista x64
How much you wanna be it means: We didn't say it, he did, but its true.
Hey look, I never got corrected on my comment above. How nice. I'll remember that you guys went to skip 5.5 x64 when it comes time to renew my OD subscription! :o
Wow this is Great , just wished it worked with 64-bit ! I couldn't of said it any better. Nice job, too bad it WONT work on 64 bit. OOPS?
Vista 64 bit Windowblinds yet? Please? They can say what they will, but I don't think they intend to release Windowblinds 5.5 x64 at all. I think their skipping it and going for 6.0
Kinda funny if you think about it, people did the same thing when XP came out! "Oh its Terrible!" "Driver sucks!" "Its nothing but a bloated OS!" "Requires 256mb of ram?! Are they crazy?".
Well im simply saying don't say "Coming Soon" if thats not the case. I could care less who uses 64 bit and who uses 32 bit, the fact is that we where told it would come "soon". I'm just simply wondering what their idea of "soon" may be, be it a weeks to months.
