Minor races not currently affected by influence the way it was in GCI.

AI continues to send constructors to SB that I have received from them through trading. This may be to the relative dumb level of the AI at normal. I have not seen it at challenging or painful.

Not sure they are acting out of character. They want to expand and they see you as the best way to do it. There is sort of a built in agressiveness slider already. It is the level at which you put the game when begining. Try a lower level and see if you see any difference.

Yes. When loading the AI tend to do more trading than normal. Take a look at your debug file and you will see quite a bit of trading when reloading. Also the tend to stop wars. Why? Have no idea. Just the way it looks like it works to me.

I use them alot. Very important early on if you fall behind in Tech and can not trade your techs for the AI's ships. As stated above, they come in very handy in conjunction with SB. I do build the exclusively on my low manu. colonies and then build bigger ships on higer producing colonies. If you fleet them up with a few bigger ships you will see definite advantages in fleet combat. The reason you srored low was because you took a tech victory. Browse some of the profiles. Leghnt of time matters alot.

The AI have to be 'Close' to you. In the diplomacy screen underneath the AI pic you will see varying degrees of there relationship to you. Once they are close the Alliance option will show up. They may not take the alliance though if you are weak in military. Gift them a few techs and they will usually accept.

You can view a medal description by going to the Metaverse and selecting Galactic Databank. Then look for 'Legend'.
