I have had this as well. Definitely need to be addressed. I like the fact that they know I am about to destroy them but I don't think they should be saying it when I am on the other side of the galaxy.
Cetane
Agree with Oxonian. I have had no issues but I have never built a ship with out a bit of defense.
As long as the keep throwing creditws at me for tech and ships I could care less what the minor does with it.
LMAO. That is worse that finding the 1bc anomoly.
Land a colony ship on anything other than Class Zero. Alot depends as far as what you find for planets. What are the specifics of you game? Habitability, Occurance. Give us a few specifice and we can help you out alot more. Try this to begin with. https://forums.galciv2.com/?ForumID=161&AID=104912#815933
It's better. In every way.
I instead of turning starbases OFF would add option to choose minimum distance starbases range , with 3 default like now it could be nice to be able to increase it, or may be increase automatically according to galaxy size. This would take care about "too many starbbases" issue. This issue has been addressed by the devs. Not sure if it is i
I guess I never realized how important time was until now. Probably not realistic that I can play for a few days and destroy a dozen or so races. i probably should get a slower computer.
They have said in a month or so.
There is no way to do that... exactly. You could just ask them for all there planets in the diplomacy screen though. Kinda the same thing.
Expanding the UP to be more intreractive has been discussed alot. I have not heard of any word on doing anything with it though.
You will not see it on the diplomacy screen. Though it would be nice to have it there. Attack away and you will have your war.
This is the first time I have heard this. It was on the back of my jewel case. A rather legnthy number.
When I look in the Shipyard the Battle Axe does not exist. When I look at the civ manager screen colonies tab then select starport I have the option of building the battle Axe. I have the required techs. 1.0X ver.
Reasearch is the key. Try this as well... https://www.galciv2.com/Journals.aspx?AID=104908
I don't build it because of that fact. Hopefully they will hear our cries and up the ability.
I use this once I have huge hulls. Before that I stick with one type weapon/defense per ship.
To add to this. You can't decommission the superprojects either. Would be nice to be able to change the junk they build.
Why would something you are allowed to do be turned off for the AI?
To get the better ships you have to go down all of the tech trees. A certian level of weapon, engine, sensor, etc. is required. Most just build there own.
Yea I know they should make the infulance areas be like in Civ 4. They are boarders of your empire are also the culture/infulance reach. So unless you have like an alliance with the AI they can't come in your area and you can't go into theirs. Other wise it could spark a war. So would you have to beat each of your neighbors to get to the
True. It is also possible to play with out military though as long as you have good trading, alot of diplomacy, and gift them a tech or three every once in a while.
I believe it can be attributed to the AI just being more efficient.
Guess that about sums it up then.
There is nothing wrong with the link... still. You have any success yet?
