I think that we all have a tendency to do this, but it's even more tempting when in a situation like yours (or most military spouses right now). Self-preservation, eh? It's not always a bad thing, but I'm impressed that you've seen through the screen and acknowledged it. And even happier that your husband will be home this weekend! Enjoy your time, and remember there are a lot of people who care and would be happy to help even after his two weeks R

I've thought about the book on tape or CD option. I love to read (not as much as SPC Nbs), but I just don't have enough time to read everything I would like to. I think the tape option would work even better for me, as I am constantly starting and stopping on the road, and with my CD player I'd either have to leave it paused or find my place every time I stop. Maybe I'll see what they have at the library. For now, I'm off to work...................
Congratulations!!! Just don't become a stranger, now...................
Very nice ditto
Since you are permitted to deliver pizzas through the gate just give him and SPC NBS one little slice? Dessert Pizza, anyone? Apple, Peach, or Chocolate?
I think in terms of articles now.... Me too, but then I can't remember most of them when I finally get to the computer they adapt and adjust and lead relatively norm
As a worshipper of the hair bands, this brings back alot of memories. All of the songs you listed were great, but none from my fave--Bon Jovi! I think I had (at one time) all of those tapes, except for Steelheart. Skid Row had a couple on their second album that were really sweet too.
Are you in a place close to them, Lady Cleve? They work together, and it's about a 15 minute drive..................any ideas? Faves of greywar's?
Screw the paperwork, it sounds like the perfect time for him to rob a bank/smoke crack rocks/discover his closet homosexuality. Well, his wife and (fairly) newborn daughter might not appreciate any of those things, but I see what you're saying. Can't tell that any thought has been given to th
Greywar was born on his father's birthday...What a gift. My mother got me as a gift on her birthday. Not too thrilled though, I kept her out of church that night. I'm glad she forgave me. That's kind of weird about greywar and SPC Nbs having the same birthday, too. I guess I'll have to send a cake o
I was at work last Saturday, driving around town, delivering pizzas, having fun. Part of the fun of my job is the freedom I have to listen to whatever I want to while I'm driving. I have different tastes in music. The CDs currently in my car range from Dr. Demento, to Bon Jovi, to Christian Jazz, to Queen, to Opera, etc. And I like to sing along. That's normally
Anyone reading this should consider how badly they want to be hurt before they start giving my husband big smeary kisses or offering him....well, you know. I'll second that one............check for a ring first!!! If you see one, just smile and say thank you.
My brother and I had an interesting argument shortly after 9/11 about the media's focus. My brother (who was still living in NY at the time) was very upset that the media seemed to be focussing on areas away from NY, interviewing people from all over the country and very few who were there. He was angry hearing people from 3000 miles away talking about the impact that the WTC had on them and wanted to know why there weren't more comments from people
Ya know, dharma, I had to do a double take when I saw the title of this article, my mind was a little too far in the gutter.............................. Good luck with the interview(s!)
SPC Nobody Special and I saw it Saturday after I got out of work. We really enjoyed it too, and SPC Nbs is quite a critic. Not of this one, though. For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, go!
*blinks back tears and leaves to go snuggle up to the wonderful man in the bedroom, who wasn't there for a year* thank you dharma..................
after the 3 or 4 large plastic cups of "party punch" (1/2" to 1" of grape kool-aid and filled to the brim with everclear)Are you sure you had that much everclear? I had a third (or less) than that and wound up unconscious, near death in the hospital. yes, I'm sure.................I used to drink alot,
Bonjour island gurl. Je comprends le francais meilleur que le parle. C'etait un histoire tres interessant. I hope that's right. I used to speak and write french very well, but it's been a long time. I hope I didn't just make a fool of myself. Nice article!
Okay, here is some info copied from CNN from their exit poll. This shows the percentage of voters registered as Dem, Rep, or Ind, and the percentage of each who voted for Bush, Kerry, and Nader. VOTE BY PARTY ID BUSH KERRY NADER TOTAL 2004 2004 2004 Democrat (37%) 11% 89% 0% Republican (37%) 93% 6% 0% Independent (26%) 48%
I like the sentiments.................nice article, greywar!
Very, very nice, Grim. Hope the whoring goes well, too................................here's my two cents
I think you might want to invest in flame throwers. zombie deer, militant squirrels, and now a swarm of swallows? I hope they don't all get together!
The telling statistic is not in the turnout, its in the results. Since when does being registered as one party or the other mean you have to vote for that party's candidate 100% of the time? I guess that means that if someone is registered as an Independent they are restricted to only
My first experience with tequila was my first experience with alcohol. I was 12. I was visiting family in Arkansas, and my cousin knew where the keys to her parents liquor cabinet were. When my Aunt left to pick my Uncle up from work one night and was gone for a few hours, my cousin pulled out a decent sized bottle that was about 3/4 full. She wanted the worm but couldn't get to it, so she made me drink the whole bottle so she could. I don't remem
I guarantee that even if Hillary wins in '08 neither SNS or myself will whinge on like the lefties have here in the last few days. you guys might not whine, but I can't make any promises for myself. I guess I will just have to do everything in my power between now and then to prevent that possibility.<
