So I guess the key is to leave a disassociated file on your desktop?
This thing will infect more than just a few files. It will blow itself through the registry and many areas of your system. You got lucky! I have avoided it before by pulling the plug on the PC... how-ev-errrrrr.... that is NOT advisable. A few weeks ago I flipped a breaker that turned out to be the computer room. 1 system shut down and the OS was hosed upon attempted reboot. &nb

I've seen this thing come in from various places just out of the blue too. Last encounter.. I saw someone playing a game on facebook and BAM! it just starts scanning your system. Once that starts you are already infested.
I've encountered this rascal on several occasions on various PCs. Malwarebytes was the only thing that fixed it. Note of advise. Run at least 2 full scans with it and perform a reboot to safe mode between scans.
Doctors are not some elevated social class that should be revered any more than the guy flipping burgers at burgerking.
Effing A-1 ++ correct! (Doc, nothing against you here at all. You seem the exception to this rule from what I've seen.) I've seen WAY too many Dr's act like they deserve to have you fall down at their feet to kiss their scum ridden toes. They are MUCH more concerned with quantity of patients than quality of care. Granted, alot of that i
I did put a shortcut to the Run dialog in the root of my C drive then drug that to my dock. Was more wondering if it had more "system" type funtions like Winstep provides though.
New backgrounds are to be extracted to - C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus2\Backgrounds
Yes, that will work, but sorting them in to their respective "type" folders keeps it tidy.
winstar, See the link on the screenshot titled "Open backgrounds folder"? Click that. By default you will have three folders there. Tabs, Tiles, and Zoomers. Now. Take one of Webgizmo's backgrounds for example. He is very meticulous the way he packages the zip files. He clearly labels the folders of the zip by type ( skinname Tab1, etc or skinname Z1, etc) Extract the folder to the appropriate Tabs, Tile or Zoomer folder. So.. lets say yo
How do you create a shortcut for the windows run dialog box to pop up?
Semi-necrothread.. So what is the fix for this? It was never answered here. I want my docks to be in the background. When I run something maximized it stays in the foreground and just mucks things up. The Accessibility option will not let me select anything other than Tabs on top. AhHH.. figured it out. Must be a bug too. I switched the position setting to Floating. Once I did that it seemed to unlock the Accessibility setting, regardless of what
Word 2007. Only options under paste special is Device Independent Bitmap, HTML Format or Files.
Ok. Not the best answer but at least this is not an issue that breaks the usefulness of MP. I'll just have to limit connecting to server 2008/Vista/7 systems as my secondaries. Thank you for wrapping this up Shirley.
Day 6 since I've resurrected this thread. No answers. Has this issue been abandoned?
looks like ... a opera-ish tabbing for windows
Indeed it does. Some sort of explorer alternative perhaps? This, along with WindowsFX... is Stardock moving more in to the realm of utilities vs customization/skinning or simply expanding?
It would be worth mentioning that this is the ONLY way you will be able to re-install your OD apps if you let your subscription expire. If you choose not to renew ,SD will not (under normal circumstances) provide you any alternatives of downloading these applications.
Is there any life out there regarding this?

Well, over 1 year has passed and this is still an issue. Any plans on fixing it?
Does it replace EI8?
No, but it does replace EIEIO as an alternative chorus. Sincerely, Old MacDonald

Don't feed it anymore... ^
when it is released in a few days
What is your Microsoft source for that information. It isn't being released in a few days, 1st Quarter of 2011 is the target date.
