Most likely someone will come along, e.g., Bichur, hehe.. and give you a link to the "zapper" which will remove most of the old WindowBlinds files. Then you can install it again via Stardock Central. I would also suggest that even after you run the "zapper" that you also run a good and safe Registry Cleaner, e.g., "RegSupreme" to remove any leftovers. Just hang in there and you'll do just fine. Often such problems are caused by one or more "Addons" which have been installed for IE6 but are incompatible with IE7. You might find uninstalling any Addons, one at a time and then running IE7 after each removal could determine the "guilty" one and resolve your issue.

IE7 is working perfect with WindowBlinds on my system including the right-click/rollup feature. I've tried it with over a dozen different WB skins and they all work great.

I've been running Vista RC1 for awhile and find it to be quite nice. I wouldn't have any problems replacing XP except for 2 major issues for me: 1) It's going to take some time for software/hardware developers to update drivers that are compatible with Vista, and 2) as others have already mentioned, there is the cost factor. It's a bit too steep for even the upgrade versions, especially "Ultimate".

I concur with the previous comments re: Toolbar icons, otherwise a very nice looking WB skin. However, after using it for a little while I experienced programs freezes. At first, I thought it was just IE 6, but then another program froze. So, I rebooted thinking that would resolve the issue but no go. On the left, under Miscellaneous, you have to CLICK on "Colors". That will display the attributes for "Colors" on the right. Then you will see "Selections".

Yes, you can change the "highlight" color easily using Skin Studio. Open Skin Studio and load the skin you would like to work with and: 1. On the left, expand "Miscellaneous". 2. Click on "Colors" 3. On the far right, expand "Selections" 4. Click on "Text highlighted" 5. Change the color to one of your choice. 6. Save the change(s) by either clicking the "Save" icon on the Toolbar or click, "File/Save". 7. Reload the skin to view your changes.

Another suggestion would be to edit your wallpaper in an image editing program, e.g., PSP, PhotoShop, etc... and simply increase the canvas size (evenly distributed) to match your current monitor's resolution, e.g., 1024x768 and choose whatever color you desire for the canvas. Then simply use the "stretch" option for the wallpaper. This way it wouldn't matter what skin you used, the border won't change.

Fuzzy, So, are you saying that WindowBlinds will NOT run on Vista RC2? Admittedly, I'm still running RC1, although I will install RC2 sometime next week. But I haven't even tried to install any Stardock products on Vista since I assumed there would be the expected incompatibility issue.

Your question is irrelevant because: 1) You have not upgraded your O/S to a legitimate one. Vista RC1 is a beta release. 2) You are assuming that Stardock is going to have to release a new and separate version of WindowBlinds for Vista. It is possible that a simple update, via SDC will provide the necessary changes, which anyone with a valid license would be able to get free of charge. 3) You made the choice, evidently, to install Vista RC1 as an upgrade over XP rather than doin

I really like Vista RC1 and IF RC2 is made available, I'll surely download and install it. My PC is rated as a "5" and I haven't encountered any functional problems with the O/S. The requirements that this utility says are necessary to run the "Premium" editions of Vista are a bit "deceptive" and can give the impression that a system that is more than capable of running it are not. Nope.... neither of those worked. I tried applying a non per-pixel skin and the problem didn't happen, but as soon as I re-applied the per-pixel skin, the problem returned. Addendum: What did work was logging off and logging on again.

I realize this problem has been discussed before but I can't seem to find it using Search. This hasn't happened in quite a long time now, but just tonight my cursor is being displayed underneath the system buttons (Min, Max,Close). Someone mentioned a quick fix for this and that's what I'm wanting to know. This only seems to happen with per-pixel skins.
