I'm assuming you want to know what version of WindowBlinds: 5.01g[b].011 (73x86). The skin is "CyberSkin". I get the same problem with "Aura" and "Cabal" skins. CursorXP version: 1.31.015 and the theme is "Point - blue". Thanks for taking an interest.

Zoomba...... thanks for the confirmation about the reboot. It is working fine now. However there is one anomaly I noticed re: mouseovers on the Quick Launch Bar application icons. With the exception of the program's "Options", all the others display a row of squares instead of the names of the applications. See the screenshot below.

This looks like a great little tool. I installed it via Stardock Central but I can't get it to work?? Do you have to reboot after installing it? I've opened documents in WordPad, MetaPad, EditPad Pro, Notepad and clicked on "File/Save as" but the default Windows "Save as" dialog opened. I also created a test document in each of those applications and clicked on "File/Save" and again all I get is the default Windows "Save" dialog. The "Help" button in t

Not any longer since my Sensei is no longer alive. I began the study of Classical Martial Arts back in 1963. And throughout the following years I studied Shoto Kai, Shoto Kan, Hokoru Jujitsu, Aikdo, Tai Kwan Do and finally Korean Hapkido. Finding any place that actually teaches Classical Martial Arts is a difficult quest indeed, at least it was in my experience. Most people IF they do find a dojo that teaches the "old way" wouldn't join or they wouldn't last very long. It is far too stric

I am a systems administrator for a small office and run a home-based PC repair/consulting service. I've worked on myriad machines running a great number of the AV offerings out there. So, I am at least somewhat familiar with how they work, the good and the bad, memory demands, etc. For years I used Norton AV and then Symantec Corp. edition but finally got rid of Norton/Symantec and went to Kaspersky. Norton has become an unruly bloated program and its performance has lagged behind many of the ot

In the past, I was one who always had problems accessing and especially posting in the forums. Load times were excruciatingly slow. But since the change, 99% of the time things are great. I do like the overall look and functionality of the change too. If there was anything I would like to see added it would be a "Mark as Read" feature in the "Tools" for individual forums. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Cool.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmidd

I've only had one CursorXP theme cause this so far, "Tronnix" by J.J. Ying. If I try to use it via the CursorXP utility in Mouse Properties, CursorXP crashes. But if I double-click on the file I have stored in a folder on my HDD, it works fine.

Does anyone know what WB skin these toolbar icons belong to? or where I can get them? I've looked through nearly every WB skin I have and they aren't to be found!! They are displayed in the "Toolbars" section of WindowBlinds configuration window and the few WB skins that don't have toolbar icons use them. So, they are there somewhere.

Yep, I experienced the same anomaly and thus had to forego using that feature in WindowFX. I've got better things to do with my time than spending it rearranging my Desktop icons several times per day.

Wblind.dll 2006/03/21 13:33:46 Your WBlind.dll is not the most recent (Wblind.dll 2006/05/22 19:55:42), which is very odd since you said you just updated through SDC. If I were you, I would uninstall WindowBlinds, reboot, open SDC and UNcheck the option "Show pre-release versions" and

Yep, it can be done and quite easily. NOTE: at this time it doesn't appear that you can add "sounds" to a "per pixel" skin. In SkinStudio: Put a copy of the ".wav" files you want to use in the skin's folder. Open SkinStudio and then open the skin you want to add the sounds to. On the tree on the left, expand "Window Borders". Click on "Titlebar Buttons - Free Form". <br

I have resolved this issue, as best as I can tell. The problem hasn't reoccurred since I made a configuration change on my system. In short, I enabled the "Theme" service and set it to "Automatic", which had been disabled for quite a long time. For more on this, see here: Link

I thought I would share how I have resolved my problem with Styler Toolbar killing WindowBlinds on startup so that if anyone else in the future experiences this problem, they can try the information below as one thing they can do and perhaps resolve it. The "fix" seems to have been to start the "Theme" service and set it to "Automatic". This particular service I had stopped and and set to "Disabled" quite some time back since it is

Well, I went ahead and spent the $10 for the "Styler Toolbar" license, installed it and I'm having the same problem as I did with the Evaluation version. The problem is on startup/bootup. Styler is one of, if not the last item to load and when it does, it kills WindowBlinds and parts of Explorer. The only way around this that I have been able to find is to first load the default "Classic" skin and then reboot. After Styler loads, then change to the des

I asked a similar question some time back about these "duplicate" copies of Toolbar icons. The answer was that each of those alleged "duplicates" are for the substyles of the skins that have them. Thus, for example, you would see 2 "duplicates" for a skin that has a standard/full Start Menu and a Compact Start Menu substyle. As for removing them, I don't think that is possible.

When I reboot my XP (SP-2) machine, everything loads as it should UNTIL I start "Styler Toolbar 1.38". I only have "Styler Toolbar" and not the full program. When the program starts, the Taskbar goes black and the Clock changes display, e.g., from 3 lines to one line. To fix this, I have to unload WindowBlinds, restart it and apply the skin. After that, everything works fine. I've removed Styler from Startup and tried starting it manually after everythi
