I named my laptop Lara and desktop Ruby. I like to give computers names after cool and dangerous women from computer games. 
Laptops are Runner and Raider, the desktops are GroundZero and GroundOne
I like to call my comptuer Bash4you!!

Nifl(heim), the underworld, a land of frost and mist. The other machine in this house is called Muspell, which is the opposite, the land of fire. Both are the primordial worlds in Norse mythology which existed before time and creation.
I always use mythological names for my systems. One reason for that is that there's plenty of exotic names to choose from that way. All my drives/partitions are named after dragons, demons and other monsters from myth and legend.

My home system has a Futurama theme. BENDER is my primary desktop, LEELA is a file server, FRY is my firewall and NIBBLER is the broadband router.
Mine just tells anyone that is not authorized to access it what to do.... f*#koff. LOL
Mine is names A1600-512R-XP. A1600 stands for AMD Athlon XP 2000+ running at 1667 MHz, 512 is the RAM size and XP is the OS.
