Our computer is simply Jean and Louie's Computer (boring, I know).

The hard drive is called Disk O Plenty. When I had two drives, I called 'em Sam and Dave.

Mine is called REBEL with a description of The Rebel BBS.

I ran a fairly popular BBS for many years by that name, so the name still holds a special place in my heart.

Mine just tells anyone that is not authorized to access it what to do.... f*#koff. LOL

Ha, ha.....I have a dog on mine who gets quite savage at unauthorised access, you know, the growling, barking a gnashing of teeth, etc

I lack the creativity to come up with something interesting, so my PC's been called "Mack" ever since I can remember. My drives on the other hand, are known as "Shinji" and "Kaworu", a legacy of my 1996 obsession with Neon Genesis Evangelion. You'd think I'd deviate from that convention in the 9 years since...

i saved enough money in nine months by eating cheese sandwiches every evening (yummy) to buy my laptop

Man!!! Now that's what I call dedication to a cause! Did you reach the point where you never wantted to see another cheese sandwich?

Originally, when I upgraded to XP, I wanted to call it Hal 9000, but found that CerebroJD had beaten me to it. So I call mine COLOSSUS after the computer in a movie called "The Forbin Project".

I named my cell Autumn, bc it's my favorite name:) My desktop is named RacSar, but the story behind that is rather lengthy.

Never thought to give my pc a name. I might think one up. I do use it a lot.... Needs a name, I suppose....
It has several names when it does something unexpected or bad......can't repeat these and I only say them in my mind....Then the mind sweepers come out and sweep the them all away.....and then they call ME names like; potty mind...
I fired them recently, so you see I have been too busy to name my pc.

Arlo Guthrie (back in the day)

Arlo Guthrie was born with a guitar in one hand and a harmonica in the other, in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York in 1947 he is 58 or 59 yrs old now!

That might be the source of the phrase "back in 47" or it might have to do with the gold rush, I knew at one time, but have forgotten...

Did you know he still performs?....http://www.arlo.net/

I was too young, but friends of mine, were at "woodstock"(cool) also they said radio couldn't play his music, it was too long for radio..
I have listened to my share over the years..

Maybe you should name your pc Arlo, what do you think?
