i have always wondered where people get those animated emotions. It looks cool to me and i always wanted to have one, well...get one.

But i noticed that every user who had used these animated emotions have a wincustomize subscription. so are the animated emotions for subscribers?

I would have held your name twice as long.

Done, I set it at 150/100 seconds.

Of course, WC and DA only allow 50 x 50 avatars. But SA allows 100 x 100. You can make an animation look so much nicer with a little size.

I hope you don't mind, GB.

Hey SD, the dissolve, pixel by pixel or a filter. I have Gimp 2.2, it has a bunch of filters similar to PSP.

It's a air brush that I just kept tapping on it in different locations. It looks like this.

It's called Marble

Thanks SD, Gimp has some air brush brushes that should do the trick.

You're welcome. If anyone would like an animated avatar for DA or SA, it's kind of what I do. I will typically get an idea of what you want and then send you three or six to choose from, or to make suggestions for changes. ID Cards and web site buttons on DA, also. Just thought I would offer.

Forget that first smiley i made. I guess this one is better. Something cute and silly for all of you. Use it anywhere, though i think it is only limited to being a simple smiley.

also i forgot to tell you guys....i was trying to insert a smiley from a website to AIM but it didn't work. how can it work?

can i do the same with google, msn, yahoo?
to insert a smiley into AIM from a website you would have to Direct Connect to whoever you're chatting with then copy and paste the smiley, or send an image to them. i doubt it's what you're looking for. and as you were saying earlier about how you wanted to create 'professional' animated images, there's a reason they are 'professional.' the artists have been doing it for a while, and practicing like crazy! it's like picking up a basketball and hoping to walk right into the NBA. it's gonna take some work!

i copyed the code to AIM and when i sent it, it didn't show the smiley. it showed the code.
