i have always wondered where people get those animated emotions. It looks cool to me and i always wanted to have one, well...get one.

But i noticed that every user who had used these animated emotions have a wincustomize subscription. so are the animated emotions for subscribers?

If you just use paint, do the individual frames, save as gifs and put them in MS Gifanimator Link (free)
You can also use Giffy to convert bmp to gif (and back) and/or gif to transparent gif Link (free) {make sure your background is a color not in your animation - to use as the transparent color}

Got a couple more options coming up

If you want to make stick figure animations, try Pivot (free) Link
once you create the gif, you can extract the frames with irfanview or other viewer if you want and then re-edit them in whatever, then put them back together (with MS Gifanimator - as an example)

i thought that it was easy....ITS NOT!! Is there any tutorial's about animated emotions?
Reply #83 Top
I'm sure there is, but I've never seen one.

Bash, try the eztoon - it puts each frame on top of the other one at a time so you can see the frame underneath (like trace paper) you can also copy the frame and use the right mouse button when using pencil for the eraser.

Need a tissue, Cavan?

You just need a good program and a little practice, bash. I'm still learning. I use Jasc Animation Shop that came with Paint Shop Pro.

Bash, I just make copies of image, then edit each in Paint.net, then put them together with MS GIF Animator. To check and see your work before use it, open with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

22 frames SD, puts my 4 frames to shame.

ah, but some of that is timing issue. I have it all at one speed, but repeat some of the same image to hold it longer. If I were making one for you for real, I would have held your name twice as long.
