Ok, if you have had uploading issues please try again. Make sure that are on the  www server and not the www2.  THough both should work I have put some debug code on the www server that will help be track what is going on.  If you experience a problem please post the name of the skin, the library and the problem you are experiencing in detail.

I was qurious as to why it is that when I add a new post "like this one for instance" I still show on the main forums page the icon that shows there is a new post added to this thread. Even after I open the thread back up and then close it out and refresh the forums page, it still shows that there in a new post to read in this thread.

So my problem is that I can leave a few post in say three different threads. Then I can even reopen the threads and then close them out, leave the site, come back 5 miniutes later, and poof what do you know! It shows that a new post has been added. I open the thread and the last post that was added was mine.....

Ohhh...'Politely'----> YES I am sure im on the last page of the threads.

*continuing problem/ and frustrating! I have tons of new posts...lol. all old..HELP!

PS. excluding this thread ofcourse. But only cause its concrete.

Geez...I hope someone understands what im describing.

MY! MY! MY! Seems you've got your work cut out for you T-Man!! Well, I'm sorry to say I'm adding to the list.

I can't seem to update my icons once they are uploaded. Instead of taking me to the page that leaves a certain amount of info on the icon still available only to have to change something or two, clicking on update takes me directly to the upload original icon page. I don't know if it's just me or if everyone else is having that problem. I want to add a link to one of my icons.

Can't update any skins. The screen goes to the submit new skin screen. Also the download links are broken (1 is screenshot Wolverine). Got 1 skin in processing limbo also (Kult Leather in longonxp).

I uploaded a rainledar skin it was visibile in the category but not on my user site or "my skins."
I have since updated it so it's not there at all now.

Unbelievable! I decided to try to update an icon of mine and it went to the update page. But I had to go and get the link that I wanted to add to the icon's information. When I got back, it once again took me to the creat new icon page, and it hasn't worked since!!

T-Man: Seems to be a problem at my site...things all mixed up. It even tells me I havent logged in since the 13th..hmmm...also having a lot of problems uploading. Been trying to upload a blind for a week and only made it this morning. But yet it accepted other blinds..I dunno..bizarre. Do you think you could take a look into this ? I would much appreciate it. Thank You.

T-man, there is also this problem i'm having with uploading as well, everytime i upload anything but screenshots, it uploads then right before it finishes it gives me a "Request Time" runout screen, (I noticed this also when i try to do things or try to go or look at my homepage) I have benn trying to upload some rainys and i can't get them uploaded..... and whats up with the updating (an item/upload) doesn't seem to work, would really appreciate if you could look into. Thanks

I tried to upload a screenshot for the last 15min. either its not working or your gonna get 15 copies. I hope that doesnt happen. lol....If so T-Man or Admins. Im sorry. It kept acting like it didnt accept it because of two fields not being filled, even though they were. No sweat, you guys got bigger problems to deal with. Im off to play video games.

I,m sure this new site will be fabulous once all the kinks are straightened out...but..ah! Yes! I do remember! Tomorrow is Monday, and I hope t-man comes to the rescue. But ya know... I just had a thought. With so many of us not being able to upload, once they do get the system fixed, we'll probably crash it again trying to upload all at once.

Well i am yet another person that has a similar question. I tryed to upload a bootskin 3 times and after waiting for weeks nothing was posted. And the skin wasn't offensive or anything. How can I see if it was rejected since no email is send out? Any help?

Can't update any skins. The screen goes to the submit new skin screen.

This problem has been corrected.   When updating your skin it should no longer take you to the beginning of the form like it is a new upload.

 

"this page can not be displayed"

Looks like one of my changes was overwritten by one of the other developers.  I have re-increased asp.net's maximum file size that can be uploaded.  The Max file sizes you can upload are:

Journeyman on up: 30MB's
Everyone else: 15MB's

I have also increase the PageTime out from 45 minutes to 60 minutes.  So for those who are on dialup and are uploading large files  you have some extra time.

 

All rest of the errors.  I will look at as soon as I can. Sorry for the delay.

ok...Im a major noob at trying to post thing on wincustomize but i had a wallpaper that i wanted to try and post. The problem is that it keeps giving me this answer "** Invalid skin filename. Please check the name of your screenshot and try again." Someone please explain to me what this means. Its probly something real dumb but just the same i want to try and get this W Paper up on the site. Would appreciate any info...thx

Hello everybody. I am getting today the following message when i try to upload: 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object'. It has to do something with the .NET correct? Just letting you know. I'll give a try to upload again later. Keep up the good work.

nate hamilton  ...file and preview names must be alpha-numeric only...no weird characters....for a wall...the preview is a f/s jpg and the 'file' is a zipped bmp or jpg....

Jafo: Changed all c++'s to cpp's, still getting the same error (** Object reference not set to an instance of an object.). I'll try again later, I'll be up until 3AM anyway waiting for the new Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trailer on IMDB.
