I think this thread is pretty funny. A vague, rude, uncontructive complaint certaintly deserves an equal response. I hope the hoop does hit him in the ass on the way out.

There are good things, there are bad things, there are good people, there are bad people, bad people maybe good and crap maybe brilliant. Everyone may have his opinion. You can belong to a "certain group" that doesn't agree, well so what. I, for one, think it's not funny and I don't believe in eye for eye etc...It is just not worth responding. I wonder why so many people felt saying something about it, including me....

On second thought, almost seriously, I think most people responded in hopes that Sheptheman would return to elaborate on his complaint. He could be referring to a number of different things and might not even be beyond help. Afterall, he did pose a question to be answered. The answer has basically been, "could you be more specific." But, alas, I suspect he will not return.

Just a word to the *ahem* gentlemen who started this hysterical thread....I d/l from here all the time. The people who make all these skins, blinds, icons ect deserve more then just us taking from them. So even if you didn't want to pay for it, I really don't see that you should complain at all about it!

Is there no way to remove these post's that are obviously intended to start an ugly discussion such as the one we've just witnessed? There certainly is no problem with "moderating" the "ugly" skins and wallpapers that are submitted, so why not the "ugly" opinions too?

Yes, any of us with admin access can delete any post, but I guess anyone is entitled to their opinion, so I shouldn't really delete these posts even though we all know these people are troublemakers from other sites who just like to stir up the "Stardock is evil" campaign. I tend to just ignore them now, and usually don't reply to their taunts.
Besides, I refuse to enter into a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.
Incidentally, I have removed one post today, but that was because it contained profanity.

We know there is only on Jafo, Jafo...not to worry! And to the admin, I agree, hots off...because you are right, everyone is entitled to their opinions. The people who "bash" any site I just look at having way to much time on their hands. I have come across place I dont like, but I also think, I am sure there are people who do. And I move on. When it comes to threads like these, I usually like to participate or readthrough because they ARE funny. You guys ( with the few exceptions ) are to funny and it is great to read the post and get a good laugh for the day! You all have been very nice to me and very very helpful and you don't usually find that on most boards, ir you get a response at all....I love this site....Keep up that fantastic work!!!

I would like to make a few comments here.

JAFO2 did not logon to steal or to mimic jafo's account. he had logged on quite some time ago as JAF0 with a zero and not an 'o'. JAF-0 if you will. There was no intent to harm Jafo. But to prevent confusion his name was changed my me to be JAF02. He had not been active on the message boards so it was not a problem.

Unfortunately his recent comments here caused a bit of commotion. This person meant no disrespect to our Jafo. But sadly enough, someone here (meaning on wincustomize) took it upon them selves to email bomb JAF02. JAFO2 has requested his account be removed so he does not receive any more email bombs.
Hence why you will no longer see his comments here as they have been removed.
