Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

After talking to the vet, we decided to put him on pain medication, give him doggy prozac, give him a prescription food (to alleviate some of the bladder issues) and just see what happens.  the treatments don't seem to really prolong life, and the tests to see which course of treatment is best seem like they would be really hard on the dog (and would probably require surgery).

The little guy was a puppy mill puppy.  We already had two dachshunds when we got him.  We went in to a pet store to get dog food and saw him.  He had been there for a few weeks because he was marked as a "standard" dachshund (which he's not).  We went back a week later and he was still there and the owner "hinted" that he probably wouldn't be there much longer because of how old he was getting.  (They just put them to sleep instead of giving them away).  He was just the sweetest thing so we made an offer on him, which they accepted.  He's always seemed a bit off.  But he has also been one of the sweetest dogs ever.  Looking at the big picture, though, at least he had a chance at life- if we wouldn't have got him, he probably would have been put down I hate pet stores and puppy mills.......

> /me is still having problems with that power failure. The mail server got knocked out, so they moved part of it to texas. Now they bought a new generator and are 'recovering the database' (why does that sound so scary?)

KG I've got an old cat that should have died 10 yrs. ago. Our regular Vet said he had cancer and there was nothing to do except "snuff" him. I dearly love that old critter so I took him into to a big city (Houston,Tx) Vet. Instead of cancer it was a vitamin overload. I almost exclusively fed him beef livers and the vitamin A was what was doing him in. (Picky felines). Anyway now he's on a proper diet and ...just old. I give him a Hydro-Therapy 2 times a week and except for being a little shaky ever now and again he's done alright. Oh, he's now 23 yrs old and it don't look like he's ever going to give out. Do your best to give your pup a few good years, good diet, and meds. and a whole bunch of TLC (works miracles). >

The Old Crab scrambles out of his Treehouse and makes for the Fantasyland forests MSGBD. Peering around and seeing no one about he tacks up a message.

"To whom it may concern. The Old Crab is off on an EXPEDITION to the Rock Candy Mountains. Will need porters and amatuer anth..anthropolom...archea..anrhtpy....oh, hell, fossil hunters."

Ahhhh,...look, Fuzzy, the count down to 10K and your Pool Noodle whupping is closing in...the Old Crab has been practicing alot too.

/me tries to have a look see what all the fuss about fuzzy logic is
/me considers the pic GM posted...
ahha! i have found the problem, someone cheated and moved fuzzy down a couple of slots!

every time i try hunting WB skins, so i can see just what little fuzzy has been up to, the page simply times out instead of loading

so, someone has been very naughty and moved fuzzy to far down the top authors list! i think i need to "report" this to JavaBean

and someone has been teasing me with hits of something i cannot find, GM! /me makes a note to see GM about this very soon

and i missed fuzzy's blush! /me *pout*
/me makes a note to see fuzzy logic about this real soon

so, the question is, what is the best technology to use for all this passing on of messages /me *innocent expression number 39*

/me thinks long and hard about this
*nearly one whole nano-second is required to make the decision*
yep, it is going to be morse code! /me grabs my special morse code chocolate spanking paddle, and goes looking for people to *talk* to

Stupid worm issue is taking up too much of my time.  Obviously, a lot of people have support's email address in their book, because the address is getting spoofed like crazy and I'm getting *tons* of returned mail.

The funniest one is an auto-reply from Gene Simmons (from KISS).  It was basically a "thank you for your email I'll never answer it, but why don't you go buy some of my stuff?"

Where is everyone? This was at the bottom of the page....

I'm so lonely skinny dipping in the coffee lake by myself...

feline has eaten my spank paddle >

This naughty kitty needs to be punished.
/me gives this a lot of thought
I know, we'll bring out the tickle rack. This is a large square bench with a post at each corner. First you handcuff each paw to a post, then you begin tickling.

/me has lots of different tickle sticks to try.

Oh dear, this is going to take a long time, well, you have to try all of them don't you?

Wheeeee SPLASH!

There, now I'm in the coffee lake too.

/me wonders if the coffee will melt KG's chocolate coating?
