Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

been working really hard. I'm the oldest person there, it seems. The youngsters were amazed to find out how old I am Friday. Hee hee.

We have these HUGE cardboard boxes at work...big enough for all of us to get into.

/me lassos the gang, puts them in the box and sets the knobs on the newly created "way back machine"

I'm so sad   My little Roscoe dog was diagnosed with Cushings disease.  The disease causes an excess amount of cortisone which causes tissue and organ damage.  Once diagnosed,life expectancy is only 2 to 3 years.  He's only 7 years old   The treatment will also cost $2500 to $3000 the first year alone.  Luckily, he is totally unaware of what is going on...... I wish I was.

Roscoe is a miniature, black and tan, lon haired dachshund.  We just call him "puppy" most of the time because he has stayed a perpetual puppy (which now he pees on the floor all the time due to lack of bladder control so he really seems like a puppy).  I think that I am going to get him some doggy drugs so that he won't care that he's sick.  Too bad they don't have medical marijuana for dogs    It's just too bad that he'll only live to see 9 or 10 years of age.  Pets just don't live long enough (unless you get a turtle....)

I'm sorry KG for what's going on.

Do you know what your going to do yet with the treatment?

Poor dog...

I've seen my dogs go through so much too. We usually end up having them put to sleep if they are going to suffer alot of pain. If it's because of old age and they are having problems. We give them like a half a pain pill here and there to make them feel better till they die on their own. But I've gone through alot since they don't live that long like you wished.
