Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

As for you GM, you are going the right way about getting a jolly good spanking

For being cheeky = 25 spanks
For being naughty = 50 spanks
For not having anything up your skirt despite my search efforts = 100 spanks

I hope you are not planning on sitting down anytime soon

if you don't see me around much for a while, it is probably because i have decided this expensive paperweight with a monitor on my desk at home is bad for my sanity.

i have just rebooted from total hard lock number 4 for tonight.

so, trying to do any work, write an email, learn windows programming, well, anything that might require work or changes to be saved before quiting the program is now inherently unsafe.

for some reason i seem to be depressed at the moment. i would ask if there was a connection, but what is the point? oh, and as a bonus the stress, irritation and depression brought on a migraine headache.

at this point the simple question is "is turning on the computer worth the pain?", and i am starting to think the answer is no.

even the fall back position of saving my email every 2 lines isn't enough, since when i finally finish recovering from one of these problems outlook express doesn't have the email at the last save. instead it has the email from several saves ago.

i am beginning to think that i need to develop a new hobby until i can find the reason for this paperweight failing to function as a computer.

at least i can still visit now and then from work.

/me sets up several booths. One is a spanking booth on one window and a tickling booth on another window. Now, when fuzzy gets here, make sure he sits in this booth. Here is a big paper cup for tips.

hmmmmmmmmmmmm....

/me sets up another booth. It has a rubber swimming pool full of water and over is a swing. Now, when OC gets here, have him sit on the swing.

/me digs a big hole and covers it with plastic. Then she fills it with coffee. She builds a GIANT diving board. Now, When KG gets here she should climb up there.

/me sets up yet another booth. This one is stocked with a famous dutch chocolate treat (you have to guess which one). Now when Madice gets here... he should practice using the cash register.

Now, Let the carnival begin. For $$$ you can tickle fuzzy, for $$$$$$$ you can spank him. For $$$ you can throw apples at OCs swing and make him fall into the water! For $$$$$$ you can send KG up the diving board for a JAVABEAN SPLASH! And for $$$$$$$$$ you can fill up on a surprise Dutch chocolate treat!

All proceeds go to the purchase of a brand spanking new super duper computer for feline. That's to make sure that he can keep coming here lots to keep fuzzy in line!

Good. I take that to mean that you are in your spanking booth!

/me takes a seat in his booth and starts eating Chocolade Slagroomvla. Very thoughtful of those restaurants of having a cash register. I can use that to partially pay for my vacation.

Erm... Or wan't that what you meant, GM?

Well, reconsider, feline. Not having you around is bad for our sanity too. Mad is already part of my name. Don't make it any worse.

Feline, I'm sorry about your computer situation.  I would send you one if I could.

Have you checked the fans on your system?  (I know that sounds like a dumb question).  We have had computers around here act very badly due to over heating.  I had tons of issues with mine until I realized that the fan on the video card was toast.  Instead of the machine shutting down, it would just lock hard.  If I shut it down and walked away for awhile, it would run fine for awhile when I booted back up.  Too many "odd" things that can go wrong with hardware...

That doesn't sound like a dumb question at all. Video cards have a reputation to cause problems like that. Also, failing fans on CPUs can. Worth checking!

all the fans seem to be going round fine, and the CPU temperature is ok.

there is no fan on the graphics card to fail, it isnt sufficently "meaty" to need one

well, i am on the verge of a format, so if i am missing in action for a while, i am reformatting, and building up the machine very slowly.

/me didn't return later

/me has been asleep in front of the telly all night...

Sigh, it's all this excercise, it wears me out. Been to physio today and that finished me off! Did 20 miles on the bike Sunday My leg muscles are sore, my knees ache - just what cycling is all about...

Just wait till I get back to full fitness, hehehehe

Hope you get this sorted soon. I know how frustrating pc problems are. Plus you are missing out on some serious spanking...

A lot of older MBs don't like XP, between them they can't decide on IRQ allocation. The IRQ conflict message you got looked like the graphics card is at fault. Try loading XP with just the graphics card only, once XP is happy with that put your other cards in one at a time - save the modem till last.

/me comes and finds MadIce in the booth with Chocolade Slagroomvla all over his face! Ah well, it's ok if he sampled...

I am sure there is a lot of money in that cash register... after all, the Chocolade Slagroomvla has vanished!

Now... let's see what FL has accomplished!

Those machines would be a lot more tolerable if they hooked a television on, or a book, or something! They are really boring!

How about a notebook with a wireless internet connection, so FL can visit the MB during his work out.

There is always a possitive side. Erm. Uh.
/me tries to think harder...
Think about all that free space you'll have.

Sunday's excercise was on a real bike. If I had tv or laptop on there I'd probably fall off...

/me considers this

...........

lets see, a nice long drive chain, and a low friction spindal, in front of several sets of stocks. if the chain is done the right way around you can watch the fun.

and what is the fun? why the spanking paddles mounted on the spindle, ideally positioned to entertain both the occupants of the stocks and the person peddling on the bike.

/me makes a note to build one of these once my machine starts working again

feline has been experimenting with a lost art, writing letters on paper

/me thinks about experimenting with this lost art. After all, it is hard to carry around e-mails, to have them at your side to make you feel less alone.

And in my case, there is an additional security feature since almost no one could decipher it!

/me shimmers in, surrounded by a strange, shifting cloud of conflicting and colliding emotions

following the events of last night, it is time for a more direct and spiritual approach to solving these myriad strange and confusing problems.

i move quickly to a collection of tall and spectacular mountains, all of which receive a lot of sunshine. while dracoform works miracles with a magic wand, erecting a vast number of mirrors, lenses, and controls, i craft a chicken out of solid chocolate.

there, it is done.

carefully the chocolate statue is placed at the focus point of all the wonders dracoform has crafted.

after everyone puts on almost opaque radiation proof viewing glasses, and the proper incantations have been made over the statue, with great reverence we pull the leaver. with deceptive slowness the mechanisms swing into motion, focusing an almost inconceivable amount of raw solar energy onto the tiny point of space, the point where the chocolate status is suspended.

for a brief instant of time it seems to glow from within, suffused with incredible, pure, bright light. and then it is gone, and there is nothing left but a few stray wafts of scent to show that it was ever there. where did it go you might ask. it didn't simply boil, it sublimed into nothingness in the heat and intensity of the beam.

with a shimmer the mirrors and lenses fade out of reality, back into the shadow lands of reality, where they can be retrieved later if need be.

/me hopes that the gods approve of this sacrifice in their name

with a brief glance around, /me folds space and time once more, crafting a small cave of enclosed space / time / reality.

the cave has no entrance or exit, existing only within its self, and without reference to any other spaces or places. secure within my cave, i curl up, surrounded by the pulsing and pounding waves of a vast and surging sea of emotions.

i toy with taking a pen and writing all over the walls of my cave, but what is there to say? so instead i simply curl up, to wait out the surges, and see what this sea of turmoil will give birth to.
