Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

MSN groups made an 'upgrade" that has some people upset! For one thing, it handed out nasty sounding nicks to some, and put this in front of some of their nicks. /me is turning into a counselor for a bit.

Howdy fellow beings!!

I just wanted to see how things were going. I'm on a 28.8 modem and this thread took a loooooong time to come up. So...

Everything is sooo beautiful here. Cool evenings (44 F) moderate days (75 F). Green forests, warm sand beaches, warm rock beaches, warm escarpment beaches...well you get the idea.

This is an island out in Lake Michigan. It's one of those places that you can leave your car keys in an open car, leave your house unlocked when you go out, etc. So marvelous, so cleansing. I have thought about you all and how fun it would be to have a party at the sand dunes at night. There are billions and billions of stars up in this sky and you can see them all. We saw a satellite last night going across the sky, that was cool and the kids were amazed.

My youngest is out catching snakes everyday, he is in heaven. The other two just want to swim all the time The water temperation is what I would call ludicrously cold, but they swim in it for about 30 minutes and then come out as kid popsicles. Aren't kids cool

I've been hanging around in the woods and at the beaches (and, of course, at the local shops with the kiddos)

I wish I could write more, but my Mom has to work on this machine and needs it.

I'll be back next week.

Werewolf, I'm glad that you are having a good time!

Sounds a lot like where I grew up.  I grew up in Boyne City, which is in northern lower peninsula of Michigan.  There was zero crime up there.  Lake Michigan is *always* cold.  Even in August in a hot summer it is cold!  I used to swim in the lakes all the time when I was a kid.  It was a lot of fun.
