(the real blind site is neurologically fascinating... some people who are technically "blind", have intact optic nerves but something is wrong with their vision centers in their brain so they can not see. HOWEVER, the nerve endings still reach other areas of the brain, and there is this one area of the brain that handles things like depth perception which does work. THEREFORE, one can be "blind" as in can't see anything, and still be able to walk through a room and avoid objects because their eyes do perceive them and relay the information to those specialized brain centers who can still interpret depth. /me was going to go to graduate school for neuropsychology but then everything bad happened.

Maybe if we all wish very hard, he will still get to come play.

Actually, the chocolate covered cherries are one of the only things about christmas that have meaning to me. It is a recipe that my great Aunt Dorty used to make. She died many years ago, but my Mom got the recipe from her before she died. Now, each year, we make them. She used to have tons of food and a huge party on Christmas eve. So, this is my little way of remembering her.
