Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

/me is up getting some coffee.... **yawn**

Fuzzy didn't show up to collect his spanks and tickles? /me is getting worried about that.

/me hopes feline's work isn't keeping him away from the chocolate planet! 'specially now when the chocolate cherries are coming.....

Hi, GM! Good morning! It's about 3:15pm here. Soon it will be the end of the work day for me...then I will be off on vacation for 2 weeks! Yay!

Two weeks! WOW... are you going anywhere? /me worries if you are gone and feline can't come and play, and fuzzy logic is AWOL.. then maybe /me won't have enought to say to myself to keep the chocolate planet alive!

Wolfie will just have to come and babysit me!
/me runs up and hugs wolfie tight! Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!

I was starting to get spooked because this has gotten to be an important place and you all are important people to me now! /me isn't even going to tell you how insane and sad the rest of the world seems right now!

Have no fear, Fuzzy is here... Down, but never for the full count.

I've been a bit tired this week due to work and stuff. Now I don't have to go to work till a week on thursday So it's twelve days of being idle and eating chocolate

GM-"Two weeks! WOW... are you going anywhere?"

Two weeks off from work does not = two weeks away from here! I'll probably be online at least once a day (except for Christmas eve, Christmas and New Years Eve).

FL-"Hey, I never thought I'd see that - KarmaGirl with Doreenosis"

Hey!

If Werewolf is babysitting GM, does that mean that we are having a slumber party? We could drink cocoa and eat the cookies I'm making (I'll even share the chocolate covered cherries that I'm making).

"Share" - now that's a good word when it comes to chocolate Yummy, party time. I'll bring mince pies

/me *relieved* didn't want to think how expensive it was going to be to send a search party all the way to England!

FL: So it's twelve days of being idle and eating chocolate

Gm sees that soon FL will be BIG ROUND Logic!

Fuzzy Logic gives massive *cuddles* to GM /me feels safer now. No terrorist can compete with MASSIVE cuddles after all!

KG: Two weeks off from work does not = two weeks away from here! I'll probably be online at least once a day (except for Christmas eve, Christmas and New Years Eve).

YIPPEEEEEEEEE

I like slumber parties! Except for some of the practical jokes... /me means in particular the ones that she fell for!

FL: I'll bring mince pies

/me likes mince pies (the ones with rum in them are very good)!

I'll bring sushi, sashimi, lau-lau, tako and king clam poki, lomi-lomi salmon.....!!! And some sand to make a beach and some sand crabs and a length of pacific ocean for the smell and sounds, and for swimming too. And I'll bring a few sand crabs to tease us!

Thanks for the chocolate Jam. A slumber party sounds perfect, really, it does. It sounds soft, warm, inviting, snuggly, all the kinds of things that go well with Christmas. MMmmmm.

Oohhh! that sounds good!
We can have a comfy slumber party (maybe we can find matching footed pajamas for everyone)then wake up in the morning and frolic on the beach! Now, how will we keep it warm and have snow, too?

We need a big fireplace, cookies, and cocoa with mini-marshmallows. And big comfy pillows and blankets!
Hummm, frolic on the beach...would that be a 'naked' frolic by any chance?

If you want warm and snowy the Genesis planet has all that (plus a few grumpy Klingons).

Someone gave me a present today. It's heavy and solid - looks suspiciously like a huge bar of chocolate Do I really have to wait 3 days to opens it

FL: Do I really have to wait 3 days to opens it

/me 's presents all kind of fell open early most of the time. OR at least one corner came undone.....

I'll bring a volcano too... the tall ones over here have snow on the top (you can even ski over here sometimes). We can slumber on the volcano top, then go to the beach for the day. In the evening we will build a bonfire, have dinner and then go to the volcano top for more slumber party with a fireplace....
/me likes volcanoes.

But aren't they a bit big to bring? I'll settle for a chunk of Kilauea, if Pele will allow

Mmmm, where's the whiskered one got to We need some four-pawed tickling to liven things up.

/me puts out a bowl of chocolate button covered Kit-e-Kat and a saucer of milk

Well, they are a bit big... but if we leave it on the edge it should be OK. The beach was what was hard... sand kept dripping off.

HEH... I think Pele is kind of curious and proud that we got a baby volcano. /me suspects that she is kind of baffled, though, since she doesn't get out much and probably can't recall spending that much time with feline!

FL: Mmmm, where's the whiskered one got to

/me wonders if he got his tail caught in a present? OR maybe he really is a Christmas tree ornament somewhere, and can't get away...

Fuzzy Logic puts out a bowl of chocolate button covered Kit-e-Kat and a saucer of milk

/me hangs mistletoe over the saucer and sits down to wait...

just a thought for those who run the NT flavor of Winblows, Startup Manager helps you to keep track of what is loading and being able to turn things off selectivly. Also TaskInfo v4 2002 is sweet for seeing *everything* that is loaded into memory and being able to either hust the thread down or outright kill it so if there is some kind of nasty code that trips on exiting that specific process or is linked to it that does something like oh say, format the hard drive, you kill it and it never gets the chance.

Just a thought, they have and do come in very handy to run at startup *tsr...

Elfkura, hope the new semester goes well and it doesn't turn out to be a total frazzel ! Also hoping your boyfriend gets the Visual Studio up and running.

Hoping everyone has a fantastic holiday and an even better new year !
