Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

I love those pics, Fuzzy! I really like "No Hiding Place" a lot! And the fall pics are great too.... they all are!

Naughty Norton for pulling tricks on you!

I don't mind things going wrong when you can see what's happened. But I get so fed up when something's working one minute and not the next without anything happening inbetween. Norton obviously updated in the background without me noticing - be nice if it said what it had updated. Wouldn't like to be without it though.

I hate it when windows does that. One time it did something and suddenly my files were all strange... kind of like they all converted to some DOS system. Lucky I found out how to undo that update! It thought I had some other kind of computer system... that is scary to me, that they can actually read your system wrong and proceed to change everything!

Norton updates all the time in the background. At home, I'm on a dialup, and the only way that I know that it updated is because my connection gets bogged down.

Windows updates scare me. I review them before updating. They will update your video driver for you every now and then and then all hell breaks loose. I don't like the auto update stuff.

Well, I am off to my Business Law class now!

One thing I do with Windows is turn off the auto update. I don't like it doing things behind my back. At the moment it tells me there is an update for my Nvidia driver...NO NO NO!!! My 30.82 driver is the one to have, the update messes up Unreal Tournament 2003, Nvidia have acknowledged this and will release a fix soon. Naughty Microsoft!

Psst, KG, let us know how the classes are going.

FL, I agree about the MS updates. i don't do that, either. I don't like them deciding what drivers I should use. *Bad* idea!

Classes are going OK. I have 220 out of 220 points in my Business communications Class (about 1/4 way through). Business Law is another story. I only got 82% on my last test (there are only 4) so, hopefully the rest will be better. If he grades on a curve, though, I'll be a lot better.
KG. You consider 82% not good enough??? Whoa, I'm glad I don't have to compete with you. Sounds to me like you're doing well.

GM. Thanks for your kind comments, pleased you like the pics.

There does seem to be a delay in me being able to read some of your posts Last night the one in red wasn't there even though I posted after it Must be cause you're round the other side of the world or something.

Another quake last night - didn't feel a thing.

Fortunately the UK is on solid rock so our quakes tend to be gentle sways instead of violent shakes. Strange how we never see any activity from the biggest fault which cuts Scotland in half. If you look at a map and find Loch Ness (with or without monster...) the fault becomes obvious. The bit Of Scotland above is heading towards Scandanavia at a rapid rate. Soon the Scots there will be Norwegian...

FL: There does seem to be a delay in me being able to read some of your posts Last night the one in red wasn't there even though I posted after it Must be cause you're round the other side of the world or something. /me thinks that my words are bouncing off whale songs half the time.

I used to love the time in the darkroom. It was kind of soothing... like meditating.

I like to spend time in dark rooms too

/me wonders if playing in a dark room is better than playing in the forest

/me invites GM to test the theory...

Fuzzy Logic wonders if playing in a dark room is better than playing in the forest

Fuzzy Logic invites GM to test the theory...

/me agrees wholehartedly..... runs off to test the darkroom part expecting to compare notes with Fl's woody experience soon....

I was just wondering, for the digital photographers, if working in the darkroom isn't something you are going to miss? It really was a pleasure in there, watching the images emerge from the solution... having so much control over the whole process.

/me thinks GM is not taking the darkroom test seriously enough...

/me discovered something GOOD in the dark room! (http://www.maylin.net/Fireworks.html)

The earth didn't move for me like it does for fuzzy, but I saw stars!

ok.... I am easily amused.....

/me sits back and waits for FL's report....

You know what would be BEST? A darkroom in the forest far, far away from worries.....

/me staggers back, still feeling woozy from the migrane attack

/me looks around to see what has been happening while i have been gone

/me thinks fuzzy is being greedy

fuzzy, if naked pictures of JavaBrain arent enough to keep you busy, now you are encouraging GM to share fireworks with you in the dark room!

/me sets about deciding what to do about this . . .
/me see's a solution to the solution of a very shy naked angie

/me decides to pinch ALL of GM's clothes next time she shows up!
dracoform points out that while fuzzy is buzzy in the dark room developing some fuzzy pictures of a semi-naked GM, we should be administering the fuzzy test to GM!!!

Fuzzy Logic invites GM to test the theory...

/me wonders how you could take a test in the dark

dracoform suggests braile

/me points out we dont know braile

dracoform thinks that it would be fun to try!!!

/me thinks dracoform is being suggestive again

anyway, fuzzy didnt ask us to the test

dracoform points out that doesnt normally stop us

dracoform makes fuzzy an offer: if we let you help in removing all of GM's clothes, can we join you two in trying the braile darkroom test?

goodmorphing discovered something GOOD in the dark room! ( Link)

/me makes a note to try this on a more powerful machine

my work machine ground to something of a hault when i tried this

GM - The earth didn't move for me like it does for fuzzy, but I saw stars!

/me thinks seeing stars is good

GM - ok.... I am easily amused.....

dracoform speculates that this means only a very small amount of ticking should be required to make GM laugh a LOT

dracoform makes a note to test this!

/me is also failing to take the dark room test seriously

. . .

/me suggests rampant spanking in the dark room!

that's bound to help!

um, um, um
you mean to say that 100% and 82% as a pair of marks arent that good???

/me thinks these are VERY impressive marks

however, should you feel that your under performance needs to be recognised, we can organise some spankings for you!

feline: Why do all your recent posts have GM in various states of being naked? As for me trying the braille test in a dark room with GM *BLUSH* what can I say?

/me goes all shy and retiring...

Agreed. We should have a spank KarmaGirl session. Maybe a tickle too while we're at it

/me thinks anyone as brainy as KG needs a good fettling from time to time to release all that dynamic energy...
