Forums are Back Up

Huzzah!

We've completed our work for the night and the forums are back up and running.  You'll notice a number of visual changes, and you'll hopefully notice improved speed and general performance.

Please post any issues you run into here.  We've done a lot of testing this past week and tonight, but if something slipped through we want to know so it can be fixed quickly.

Items not functioning at this moment:

  1. Recent Posts List on the Sidebar
  2. Featured Articles

Fixes are coming for these tomorrow.  For now, it's getting on towards 5am and we want to get some sleep  ;)

Just hope you can get the image backgrounds matched up.. from a skinners viewpoint its hideous to see an image.. on a square background over a color that doesnt match. That and this tiny reply box.

Probably high on the 'to do' list is [needs to be] the 'quotes', as currently text is not being credited to the correct person and thus making threads quite confusing [and misrepresentational]...;)

Ok I was on the home page responding to this post with those other problems happening but now that I am actually in the forum, Excellent looking here except the text box is about 1"x1/2"

What happened to the escape from the thread that used to be at the bottom.  Now it seems that we have to scroll back to the top to get out.

clicked on Boxxi's pick in #31 and it opened a new tab (as it should) when I closed it this is what I saw on the old tab

Having a problem with 'view all posts' not working from withing a thread. All I get is this:

We're sorry, but that post does not exist.
The post has either been removed or the forum gremlins have stolen it.

hmmmm.... When I click the wheel on my mouse it allows fast scrolling by physically moving the mouse forwards and backwards, but that doesn't work AT ALL now in the forums. Annoyingly, it only worked outside the center panel before, and I did point it out when the new Wincustomize was first built. I was told it was being looked into way back then, but now it's worse!! Please fix this guys, I use fast scrolling all the time!!

I love the new layout. As stated before, this box is way too small. I am seeing the "Forum Catagories" and "recent Forum Activity" on the bottom of this thread instead of in the sidebar.
