Thanks for pointing that out Jafo!   I was wondering why it was hard scroll the page.   After I read your comment, I looked at my DigiData widget that Martin made, and sure enough 86%!  

My concern would be that were someone to be in the midst of something 'important' and inadvertently 'lose it' simply because he/she happened upon this thread at the same time.....they won't be looking too kindly towards 'Rat-packers' and/or Wincustomize.com ...

Although not anything real important, have a Bryce render running, when load page 1 of thread Bryce dropped from 80-90% cpu to 15-20, while FF went from 0 to 60-70.

I learned alot today reading this thread today. Some things good, some things not so good. Some things from both sides I will use to be a better shooter. Some things I'm going to try to ignore and not let it upset me further.

I just want to state for the record. I don't just sit around all day making screenshots!(I know nobody said that I did) I got the impression that some people think that this is all some of us have to do. For someone that may be true. If this is what gives that person a reason to get up and function and make themselves known, praise God This is there for them! As for myself, I work five days a week. Three of those days are split shifts. And I'm a divorced mother of one extremely smart and talented young man.(He's twelve now) Between events in life, and since I can't sleep half of the time, in the middle of the night I make screenshots.

But, I think some people don't realize people come to this site to look around, they come across the screenshot pages, and after alittle while..."WOW! I want my computer to look like that!" These pages are an advertisement of the wonderful, beautiful, cool, and highly functional things that talented artists and skinners have created! And for the most part are only available here at WC! I should know, I was just one of those people exploring. But, one day I decided I wanted to contribute to this place. I'm so glad I did!

Why is it a big deal that the forums are used in a fun and entertaining way? To some people it is entertaining to debate back and forth over something,but that's okay and just a group of people having alot of fun with each other isn't?

If I have been out of line, I'm very and truly sorry. And I'm sorry if I took up too much space. I usually don't talk much, but I had a long time to think about all of this at work this afternoon.

Somehow I believe the statement about making screenshots all day was directed at me, though never directly identifying me. It really doesn't bother me at all.

This is true as in life. Just like you'll sometimes get an uninvited party crasher with a pin or lit cigarette, walking around popping all the balloons, eating up the food, making a mess, drunk on their butt, and not a clue what or whom the party's even for!
