Not current with my ObjectDesktop subscription... OB was one of my favorite parts, but I stopped using it because it was too limited and used too many resources. Does the new ObjectBar handle corner activations for switching desktops and activating menus? I really liked Litestep for these capabilities. Will it be possible to run ObjectBar instead of explorer.exe rather than just in addition?
On the subject of Litestep... its cool but I can't run it on my PCs- just too flaky and time-consuming. The thing that I really liked about it was corner activation. Is there currently any way to have this in OD? I would like to have DX or OB menus and bars pop out when I put my curser in the corner only, instead of having the whole edge be a autohide activation. Good tip for using Drempel and similar backgrounds (I usually use the awesome ZMatrix background, looks like The Matrix); set the priority to Lowest in task manager- that way it never slows your computer down, it just pauses while you do other CPU hungry things.
The day the music died. SomaFM already shut down... I imagine there won't be any internet stations left in 2 months. The reason is that, as migellito was saying, these royalties are hundreds of times higher than regular broadcast stations- as in a radio station with no commercials and 2000 listeners would have to pay $500 a day in royalties. Insane...
