mason, you are becoming the king of "one-liners" on here. you're hilarious ! Hmmm, that's a real problem. I can't recall ever making the first joke on JU. People are laughing at me. That's not good. What do I do? I know, I'll ask THEM. THEY"LL know what to do.

You had almost forgotten AC/DC???? How COULD you????!!!!! I'm an old rocker myself. Love that stuff. Remember Twisted Sister? Here's a trivia question for ya. Do you remember when MTV first went on the air? (No, that isn't the question) What was the Video that MTV launched with? (The first one they played when they went on the air, for those who have toked a bi

He failed to mention that prolonged use of pot causes several other problems such as short term memory loss, severe....ummm.....what were we talking about? Good article dude.

I have lots of ideas but most of them will either get me arrested or (as usual) my face slapped

Welcome to JU. Blogging is just writing. Write what you feel like sriting about. A good start would be to read what others have written and the comments as well. You can write about pretty much anything you want. If you want others to read it, make sure it has an interesting title and is written so as to keep someone's attention. As for images, can't really help much there as I don't use them. Somebody will be able to help. Also, you

smartaz, you most definately have a firm grasp of the obvious. Floozie, the breeze on the cheeks comment had me wondering for a moment if you were peeking in my windows j/k it does feel a bit strange. As far as looking sexy.............Only if you use a seeing eye dog.

Ock, that was a pretty good explaination of Quata. I'm impressed. (I am something of a science nut) (OK, OK, geek) As to the Quantum Truth, I'm not so sure I agree with what you are saying but it's a pretty good theory nonetheless. Another term for what you're describing is Relative Truth. I, for one do not subscribe to this idea simply because of the definition of the word truth itself. I believe that real truth is absolute, but our

It struck me this morning that we can sometimes mourn some of the strangest things. It is normal to mourn the loss of a loved one. They are gone, and we will not be seeing them again in this lifetime. But what about mourning other things? Since I am going to be job-hunting I decided that it might be a good idea to shave off my beard so as to have a more prese

I agree that TRUE friends are a treasure beyond all material things. It is sad when a "friend" turns out to be just another fair-weather user. I have very few "friends" although I have literally hundreds of acquaintances with whom I socialize. Writing style aside (I'll admit it is a bit dry) I understand exactly where you're coming from. I have been in business with "friends" a few times in my life and, with one exception, it has always been a

That's a very nice article Shul. Thanks. I haven't lost faith. Sometimes we just lose sight of it. He has always carried me through and will again. It just get's difficult at times, I know that. While I am still down and not seeing the 'light at the end of the tunnel', I know it's probably there someplace. I've been in some very bad places and situations before, and always carry through. I will again. It's the in between times that are tough s

Seems each person has their own definition of a 'troll'. I see trolling as making insulting, personal, inflamatory statements. Just because a person disagrees, that doesn't make them a troll. If they become obnoxious in personal attacks, insults, and such, I then consider them trolling. Up to now, I have never blacklisted anyone, or even deleted a person's comments. Perhaps I'm strange but I enjoy reading opposing views and can learn from them

After a good deal of consideration I've decided that it's time for me to make some serious changes. Since my bad back will longer allow me to continue driving a truck for a living, I will have to look into something else. I spent a good many years working in the Electronics industry and had moved very high up in the ladder in my field. While I have been out

LW I really appreciate that. While yes, I do consider it at times I don't think I'll ever actually follow through with it. I inherited a tendency toward depression from my father, who did follow through with it. I think that's exactly why I wouldn't do it. I have been in therapy and treatment for severe clinical depression. Was even on meds for a couple of years. Sometimes it just helps to write things out to deal with them. I am already at th

Poison ivy has no effect on me whatsoever. As kids my brother and I built a fort out of poison ivy. None of the other neighborhood kids could get near it lol Sorry for you though. I had a severe case of shingles early last year that still causes a little pain and itch even now so I can sure relate to how you feel.
