However, I draw the line at personal attacks As do I. Critical review of a blog article or a particular though expressed in a blog should be welcomed. It stimulates a good exchange of ideas. I enjoy it if someone disagrees with me as long as they can present a reasonable reason as to why they do. But,
A very well written and thoughtful piece of work. I enjoyed it very much. I have much of the same nside of me. I only wish I had the poetic talent to let it out. Again, very, very good.
Very good review of the book. I have contended for years that the left wing activists were simply preying on the consciences of the people to support themselves, and that both sides are using the courts (more the left than right) to usurpe the role of legislature. It's about time someone with some credibility (I have none) and a wide loyal audience (again, I have none) started pointing these things out. As for the media, is there ANYONE left i
That pretty well says it.
Sounds like your hubby needs a good kick in the pants lol
..a nice bottle of wine, a cut throat trivia game, some good music.....that's a wild night!! Sounds like a great time to me. I'm killer at trivia. A veritable wealth of useless information.
Now, if it was something really important, like, say, a classic chrome plated telefunkin U 47 I could understand it.
Weird. Just plain weird. And over VWs no less. Geez.
And sometimes there are. I can recall a case of my own in which I believed that I was entirely in the right, as did my opponent. During the trial, some things that I knew about came out that my opponent wasn't aware of. Some things came out that my opponent was aware that I wasn't. The real truth of the situation turned out to be that, in fact, we were BOTH wrong. Now I would agree that if we had spent more time in discourse, the court case would n
Bureucracy at it's finest. Amazing how slowly the wheels turn when YOU need them to, isn't it?
Capt. upon re-reading this article, I just don't understand.
Hmmmm interesting read to be sure. My pet rock loved to fly. It seemed to derive great joy from being hurled through the air, usually bonking someone in the head. Seriously, a very interesting article. Enjoyed it very much. Might I make one small suggestion? Edit the article and break into actual paragraphs, as it will be easier and more enjoyable to read. Just
I'm really sorry Ashlee. I have also lost people I cared about. It is a difficult thing to bear. Always seems like such a waste. Hang in there. Enjoy what time you have left with this person. Let them know how much you care. I'm sure they'll appreciate it more than you could know.
I agree that government run stores would be costly to start up. And, even with cheap labor to work them, there would still be utilities and other such expenses involved with running them that would simply add to the expense of the program and take away some money from actually benefitting those who require help. Also, the government shouldn't take business away from private stores to support a welfare program. The current system should limit w
After a great deal of careful consideration, weighing all the pros and cons of the career options available to me and factoring in my age, health, and various other factors, I have reached a decision regarding the next step in my career. I have already made the decision to relocate to Florida, so that part was easy and fits right in with my decision.
Hoping you have a great European birthday bash!
everyone is welcome to come here and tear my pages if they so desire, as long as it is consistent with Brad's rules, I see discourse on any variety of subjects to be a value whether it be here, on a forum, or in email. Very magnanimus of you Ock, but I have never seen the point of "hi-jacking" a threa
Whether attacked for it or not, your still free to say whatever you want. Freedom doesn't imply freedom from the consequences of your actions. If I say to you that I think you're an obnoxious bore, (just an example and the 'you' is nobody in particular) I have every right to say so. Does that mean I am somehow protected from 'you' saying something in retaliation? Of course not. I do understand your general drift on this though. With ever incre
Frankly, it sounds like pretty typical military SNAFU. If you're looking for efficiency in the military, well, ummmm, have a valium
A blog is a website where people write down their thoughts and random strangers post inane comments in reply Best definition of a blog I've seen to date.
Actually it' s a good article Ashley. I could never stand to live in a busy town again. I have lived in the city and in the "country" and I love living out where I have some "space". I know exactly how you feel. Living in a city or large town can make you start to feel cramped. It's good to get away from the crowds and bustle of city life. The slower, quieter pace of country living can't be beat IMHO. Keep writing, I enjoy reading you
It's a dog's life isn't exactly a bad thing.
Never believe THEM. THEY lie. THEY are only interested in absolute power. THEY will do anything to reach THEIR goals.
