Quoting MikeO, reply 156Guys I have narrowed it down to truelaunchbar on my system. If I remove any custom toolbars from the taskbar the crashes stop! Not sure if anyone else with the symptoms is using TLB and WindowFX together. Thanks for that information. We'll try to reproduce it.
Any news, any luck with re-producing the issue?

Guys What's happening with OD2 at the moment? Seems like very little development on this fab app. Can we expect any minor/major changes in the next month or so? thanks!
It doesnt happen with Windowblinds unloaded, this seems to be a windowblinds bug. How/where can I report this to stardock/wb developers?
ok, that is exactly what happens on mine! UIS0 skins paint correctly (try the UIS0 skins - aero coloured etc.) Maybe the issue is specific to UIS2 skins, which accounts for the majority of the best skins out there... Still not sure if it's a WB or Opus bug?
Guys I am trying to figure out whether it's a bug in Dopus or Windowblinds or even something else.. Can you please use your favourite wb skin, load up directory opus and perform the following? a.) In Dopus, go to help/license manager b.) Click Install New Certificate c.) Click Load Does the explorer dialogue paint correctly? Please let me know your results and version of WB used, thanks!
right, so to this date the issue still remains. Does anyone know what might be the issue? Another skin that doesn't have this problem is the excellent 'team time'.
hear back from the dev's? You're kidding right. Dev on this app is slow at best! Sticking with Winstep Nexus dock for now...
so, Stardock, are you going to change the behaviour of OD2 aeropeek so that it functions on the running dock and not the task? This IMO would be ace!
*bump* This issue has been nagging me for ages, please fix.
I believe it's connected to the height of the bottom part of the startpanel
I thought the same, so out came skinstudio and I started messing with the bottom part of the start menu panel, adjusting height and anything else that I thought might help, no luck I'm afraid.
It may be related to whether the skin has settings to move the search box - maybe the cursor doesn't quite catch up!
interesting, that would be a bug in WB7 then eh? Are you able to reproduce the issue?
I have discovered that the cursor alignment issue is only present after the skin has been applied. If you click out of the start menu and click back in, the cursor is correctly aligned (until the next time you click apply in WB7). Oddly, the only skin to not have this issue AFAIK is Stripe Poker by vStyler.
I get that too, even on my own skins. I've tried to adjust it to no avail. I dont think it's something that a skinner can fix...margins have no effect on it. However, I have noticed that once you click in the search box, the cursor centers itself (although not permanantly, only when it's active).
Yes, the same for me. Only when I click on the search box, the cursor aligns itself correctly.
Are you using medium or large fonts?
I'm using fonts defined by the skin in WB.
Hi guys and gals I have noticed an issue with certain skins whereby the Start Menu 'search' cursor sometime appears off-center with the search box. It doesnt do this for all skins, in fact, the only skin I have come across that NEVER exhibits this behaviour is 'stripe poker'. The skin 'arsenic' amongst others does have this issue. Is it a skin design problem or a WB issue? thanks <a title="Start menu by MikeyOsm, on Flickr" href="http://w
Ah, sub docks requested again, I don't know if Jeff (OD Dev.) has any plans for this but I do know OD Plus already has this, it is called a tabbed dock. One dock, multiple tabs for different items.
A tabbed dock is not the same as a sub-dock or the ability to open another dock from the list by clicking on a dock icon. Tabbed docks are not to everyones liking (inc me) as you cant have a.) magnify b.) 3d backgroun
Hi OD2 is great but I think lacking a very important feature. It would be nice to have the ability to click on a dock icon which then opens another dock. For example, a Game dock Icon which when clicked shows another dock with a list of games on it. I tried with latest OD2 beta but I can't get this to happen. If it was possible, it would beat waiting for a really decent stack docklet ;-)
Oh my, slick is not the word! When I think of it I'll let you know... [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]
I have the tasks running on my dock, hover over them with the mouse, but no aeropeek. ok, it's clearly working for some but not all. No matter what I try I cant get the aeropeek to work when I hover over a running task in the dock... Hover over the shortcut for it not the running icon that displays when it is running.
LOL that works, wouldnt it make more sense to hover over the running shortcut?
