Thanks again. That worked. The tutorials don't say anything about how to do that. Someone needs to make a tutorial on how to do things like this in DX cause the tutorial is too vague.

Hi. I've finally decided to try my hand at making a desktopX object. I'm already having problems with the script coding. I'm trying to make a text object that will take a value in a variable and display it as text on the desktop. A rate value is added to the variable every second and is updated every second. The question I have is: how do you get it to display as text on the desktop? The tutorials didn't help me out at all. I tried object.Text
I agree that supermarket pizzas are terrible. They don't put enough toppings or cheese on them. When I bake pizza I get from the supermarket, I add lots of extra ingredients to it. And Pepsi sucks! Go Root Beer!
Indeed. You can't give those things away anymore. The way it looks is they're getting ready to come out of beta testing and they're giving the beta testers lots of invites to spread around. They gave me fifty of them for crying out loud! So it should be extremely easy to find an invite these days.
We want a skinner, not a bellyitcher!
Global warming is indeed happening. The drasitc changes in the weather over the years (increases in the number and severity of storms over the last decade) shows evidence of this. There's this great movie called 'Day After Tomorrow' that you should watch. It might give you an idea about what is possible due to global warming.
I have to agree with that. There are plenty of good coders out there who can't work a paint brush. And there are graphical geniuses who don't know anything about coding. We should all become one big happy family.
^Agreed. Besides, Desktop X came before Konfabulator and they pretty much work the same, except that Konfabulator originated on the Mac and Desktop X originated on the PC.
I highly doubt that something reported by the developer is a rumor. If it was reported by anyone else besides the developer, then it could be a rumor. And...TEDDY!
Great! Can't wait for that update. The Christmas Time Theme is one of the best holiday themes I've seen in a long time. Keep up the terrific work mormegil.
