I dunno, but i think that as long as you don't claim the image as your own, like you created it, most images can be considered somewhere in the public domain. I made two bootscreens, both with images of popular individuals. I personally don't feel as though I breeched any copyright, i only promoted my view as a fan of both individuals. Also I don't think that the owners of the copyrights would appreciate all creators of the skins on this site calling and asking for permission to use their cop

64bit is good, but xp is 32bit. Also 64bit amd=expensive. my dell laptop has a 2.4 ghz p4, 512 megs memory and a forty gig hardrive and a 32meg ati radeon mobile video card. it and a printer cost me 1200 at the end of summer(of course dell gives my college a discount). Since I have deleted all the worthless programs that dell packaged with it and reconfigured a little it has almost no problems.

alright, as i suspected the problem is the number of colors. If you change the number of colors to 16, by added 14 white colors it works perfectly. The first time i ran it it was split the second time after i changed the colors it worked. I guess either you could change it or email the author to change it. [Message Edited]

go to dock settings/ dock contents and uncheck the don't run multiple instances of programs radio button. That works for me

been doing this to me since the first one. Finally deleted it and put the xml weather on objectbar. I don't know enough about vbscript to tell you whats wrong with it, only that its been wrong for me for some time.

this happened to me when I was making a skin. I set the number of colors lower then 16 and it split, at least that is why I think it split. I only changed the number from 15 to 16 and it worked perfectly. Since it is up here it shouldn't have that problem. Have you downloaded the latest version of bootskin?

y'zdock will work, but I won't tell you where to find it. Apple said it worked to much like their dock. You should be able to put a folder on objectdock, but somewhere in the forums i remember seeing a way to put folders on the dock. It was quite complex. Have you tried the newest objectdock?

i got me a cheapo ge optical usb mouse. It works great and i have no problems playing games, like wolfenstein enemy territory, or tiger woods 2004. Is a mouse without a tail still a mouse or just an ugly rodent?

or open up windowblinds configuration and there is an option to install from disk in the upper right. Find it and install it. So it doesn't matter where you save it

under the animation tab there is a place for the number of frames. Enter the number of frames in the file into that slot and change the size to the size of a single "cat head" its under states, but I think you already know that

I think ico files use less memory in objectdock...they should work the same as png's. But the highest resolution you normally find them is at 128x128, which is great if you don't mind their zoom size that small.

windowblinds does skin it, but firebird skins over it. If you could find a blank theme, the wblinds should show. A great place for firebird themes is here http://home.comcast.net/%7Elynchknot/fthemes.html You can also find them at the mozilla place they aren't nearly as good.

I think desktopx has an option to do what your saying, but Im not sure. Something like reduce work area. You might want to find out about it.
