Problem Uploading my Bootskin

I get this error when I upload... How can i fix it for the .Bootskin file?

Error uploading file: Invalid format

The file : 'Alienware.zip' is not allowed to be uploaded (Error 1010)

You dont need to put it in a zip...Just have the plain .bootskin file.

Well isnt the .Bootskin file a combo of the picture and the configuration settings. Im a nub to makin these, so I dunno... thanks for the help

in the bootskin application under file choose export.

thanks, but now I am gettin and error when I try to save the export saying, "error tryin to save the export file. Possible cause: read-only target directory or invalid file name.... Ive tried savin in a few folders and on desktop and my filename is simply Alienware... anyone knwo whats up?

I just exported one to a temp folder, named it Alienware and it worked fine...are you using version .075?

This is the wierdest thing. 15 minitues of tinkerin and i still cant get it to work... And its not just my file, I tested the ones that come with the program and Im getting the same thing

And its not workin, should I maybe reinstall or sumthin? Im doin everything right, or so I believe. My file shows up fine in the window jus townt let me save the export...

Just create a new folder on c:\ and call it whatever you want...

Do you mean into the C:/program files/stardock/wincustomize/bootskins/skins/alienware is the exact location of my file needed to be saved.

That's fine...now open Bootskin and click on 'Import'...then you can export it.

u think I can email you the image and configuration file and you can export it and send it back to me for me to upload? It still wont work over here...

I really don't want it mostly because I'm not sure you have the files correct. You should have two files...the BMP file and the INI file...correct? If that is what you have did you copy and paste another INI file from another Bootskin or did you write one?

As long as you entered your info in the exact same form as was there and saved it as an INI file then it should work....

I did it the samem I mean its showin up in the Bootskin windows, its just not letting me save (export( it, i dont get why
