i am betting that there is the same number of great objects. however there are so many more people making desktopx objects that the great ones are harder to find. but i saw a few on the konfabulator that i wouldn't mind having on my desktop

check to see if hotkeys are off in objectbar right click on the bar select properties click on the root select the hotkey tab and see what is checked. cheers
all it actually does is change the icons embedded in the system files. I changed them a long time ago, because i can make my system icons much bigger now and they look good. The only problem is it resets itself if you install an update. There is somewhere an app that will do it all for you and backup your system files it is changing. However i feel that this is not the place to dicuss changing system files. It goes against the overall attitude of this site of making windows look better with
hmm. I don't have this problem and i use both objectbar and windowblinds. It sounds like a browser problem. If you unload both objectbar and windowblinds does it still happen?
have you tried right clicking on the object and selecting the delete object item. if a dialogue pops up click yes.
nice, but i am not an alienware fan. cool boxes , high prices, same guts as most anyother high range pc. woot woot
you did it right. try the link above again. and test it(move your original out of the bootskin folder and install the new one) before you upload it. woot woot
alright there are only 16 actual colors, but the bmp isn't saved in a 4bit format, i think. I found that you need to make a color table for the bmp with 16 colors. If you also made a progress bar it would have to have the same color table. Since it has to have a color table it can't be rgb which is what your bmp is, it needs to be indexed. If you want its a simple matter to do this and i'll be nice and do it for you and fix the bootskin file link above to a fixed bootskin
wait doesn't work, just restarted my computer using it. I think you need to change the number of colors to 16, no less no more. So don't upload it yet
here's a link to the file, i think my smtp server is down. http://web.utk.edu/~tthomp11/alienware.bootskin right click save as [Message Edited]

i am betting that most entertainment companies encourage fan-art because it is a free way to advertise their products. It would kind of be stupid for them not to.
joetheblow: it takes part of your ram and creates a drive from it. it doesn't affect your actual hard drive unless you save the image of the disk so it doesn't delete the contents of the ramdisk when you shutdown
the only problem I had with it was if i put the internet files onto it I could only download files smaller then the randisk size.
i think it depends on what your trying to upload. Its probably harder to get a wallpaper submitted then a logon
yeah i guessed that aaaachooo
I woke up at 4 pm...not a very good schedule for a sick guy, but I live in a dorm and my bed is next to my desk. Um, thanks for your concern, i think cough, cough, snifffffff, uggggggh
