Weyrleader
I have never CTDed on colonization. I have on other events, like invastion, and sometime just presing the turn button.
I have seen the same think. Sometime a planet that could be seen properly turns black. My system spec's are 3.6GHz Intel CPU, 1 GB memory, nvidea 6800 ultra with 256 MB of memory.
I don't understand what you are asking. Is there an item in a .ini file that we set to the target. My target for the .exe file is "F:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming.net\GalCiv2\GalCiv2.exe"
3D is going to open up so many options... especially in GalCiv3 I want to play GC2 first <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/smile
I haven't had that problem. Try rebooting just to be sure.
It could help you to see if there are problems with '1', I', 'O' and '0'.
This is a known problem with the CD Key. It is difficult to distinguish the letter and numbers above due to the fount used by the publisher.
I remember seeing in another post that as you perform research, the technology for upgrading you factories, etc will be available and they can be upgraded.
Are you and Weyleader playing the newest build (a second exe was posted late Thursday)? If not, give that a go and see if it lets you play ongers (perhaps up to 24 minutes?) Yes, I got the latest version and I played for over 30 minutes before crashing. I CTDed when I tried to invade an AI planet.
Tried to invade an AI planet but I CTD.
Hey all, I'm new to GalCiv but I'm already a junkie. Then I saw Star Fleet Empire....Crewmen wirefire2 ready to serve Captain!
You might want to go to the Empire threads - see button on left - and post in the Starfleet thread and let them know. Also, go to the Metaverse page and select empires and go to the appropriate empire page and it will tell you how to join that particular empire.
On my machine everything work really great. But, I have a high end machine - 3.6GHz, 1 GB of memory, highend graphics card with 256 MB of memory on it. I have the same prolbem that FC alluded to - about 20 minuts of play is all one can do before a CTD. Then, can't reload from autosave - system just sits there cycling on the disk, but the game never loads. Have to hard kill the computer and reboot. I like the new colony screen. the tech screen is
Send an email to and ask her to help you.
Hello, MoseyingAlong. Come visit us in the Claw or over at the Core Embassy.
Look at the rankings in the Metaverse. It only counts to 9 and the rest are all 0 (zero).
I submitted two games so far tonight Score and total has not changed
I submitted one and score and total not changed either.
Oh and the PC is dust free.
With a 12" fan I would hope so. Maybe even chip free :)
You have to register your player name with the AP SN. Go to the Metaverse tab above and click on register button on the left.
Stardock may end up combining their scores or simply deleting them as they have done with players found cheating in the past
I have actually sent CareElf an email asking her to recombine my personalities. She has declined to do so at this time as she is very busy with GC2 - as are most of the rest of Stardock.
Yes. with only one player registred, the score would be near 2975 K. And Weyrleader + Passing Bye = 3 378K.
Which would put me in 2nd place, where I used to be.
Looks great. I like the fixed add in addition to the slider for loading the colony ships.
the new one up to date? Come & chat with us > The Galactic Core
Glad I could create a testtbed for trying out a post. Come & chat with us > The Galactic Core
I have heard from several people that they cannot create a thread on this forum, so I thought I would create one and see if what they are saying is true.
The new site looks great. Now, let us see the beta version of the game, please, huh, huh?
