AP and the metaverse

Is there something special I have to do after upgrading to AP to make my submissions show up in my profile with the scores submitted with just the GalCiv serial number? Or, is there another reason a score I submitted last night might not show up?

You have to register your player name with the AP SN. Go to the Metaverse tab above and click on register button on the left.

I tried putting the AP serial number in the field for the GalCiv serial number and in the field for the TotalGaming.net serial number. Both times it said the serial number was invalid. It wasn't, though, because I copied it directly from the email.

Any other ideas?

I figured out the problem. Internet Explorer was set to use a proxy that was no longer running. GalCiv uses IE's proxy settings, and no other applications I use pay any attention to IE's settings, so I didn't notice a general problem. GalCiv doesn't give any error message when it can't contact the server, and because it coincidentally happened at the same time that I installed AP I assumed it was a problem with the serial number rather than the connection.
