Though why you would go off planet to shop is beyond me. Isn't it obvious? It's because on the Starbase, you don't have to pay sales tax! And thus the thread comes full circle.

I'm playing that campaign mission where you have to capture the planet Charon. It's currently held by the Dread Lords, and for some reason that completely baffles me I can't attack it. I have a fleet sitting there ready to take out the ships in orbit, but trying to attack the planet does nothing, just like if there were no ships in orbit. But there are ships in orbit, so I can't move a transport in either. I'm assuming this is a bug, though I guess
This happened in GalCiv 1 too. You can't trade with a race you're at war with, and you never could.
They could put in stars for every emotion. The envy star could make a planet so desirable that every race immediately sends transports to conquer it. Anger stars could start a civil war on the planet, lowering production and decreasing population.
I was impressed by the three outpost planets in Seige being called Locke, Celes, and Sabin. Where was Terra?
The amount of effort that must have gone into that robot design is amazing. The most creative thing I've ever done with a ship design is put a "wing" on the top of the ship and call it "The Shark". The thing I don't like about ship design is that you have to either do it, or accept the fact that most of your ships will look pretty much the same. I like octaviusviii's idea for "CF" ships, though. Put a bunch of those in the Library, and that problem
it is hopefully easy to give the option of a not wasting social spending Oh yeah, I can just see a checkbox on the preference screen: "Waste unused spending" Frogboy, you do still have to pay salaries, but you don't have to pay anyth
On the tech screen, sort the techs by time left. Select one of the ones lower down and spend a few weeks researching it. It should move up the list, but it stays right where it was.
I'll confirm that. I thought it would be good to strap a laser onto it, so it could help out in the fight. I wasn't thinking about the numbers and the "which ship to attack" formula.
You can also load the entire population of a planet onto a big enough ship, leaving the planet with 0 population. No cheats required for that one.
The minimap options to show a planet's manufacturing or population are mutually exclusive. Of course. But those two are also mutually exclusive with the option to show influence on the minimap. Why? It's really annoying that I'm not allowed to see influence and planets at the same time.
One minor issue where the zoom level changes when I didn't want it to. Nothing that affects the game's playability.
I think it's stupid for GalCiv to have democracy at all. How do you expect to sell the game in China?
I just won Siege totally by accident when the Drengin surrendered to the Yor, giving up control of that key planet. I was holding my own against the Dread Lords, though. I was using fleets of ships loaded with a high-level Mass Driver weapon that the Arceans stole the plans for when they took back one of their own planets from the Dread Lords. I was on my way to developing lasers just as powerful, though. I got the ships up to a really high level,
Arrow keys. And the numaric keypad for moving diagonal. You can also right-click where you want them to go.
You blow them up. It's just like attacking a ship that's not in orbit: try to move one of your warships onto that space.
Google: site:galciv2.com {keywords} Yeah, but you have to wait for the Googlebot to index the posts. It was a time issue, with the Terror Star. First they'd have to figure out how it should work (It destroys a star system and all its planets, which would need a different mechani
How would I move ships if the arrow keys moved the map instead? You don't expect me to use the mouse for that, do you?
You would think. But no. https://www.galciv2.com/CollectorsEdition/
It rounds down.
The difference is he has the source code and can make any edition he wants.
Here's what I did: 1) Go to https://www.stardock.com/support and get your SN emailed to you. 2) Copy the GalCiv2 SN from the email (it was different from the one I already had) and paste it into the serial number box 3) Download new ship components and desktop theme
If it's got a Visa or Mastercard logo you should be able to use it anywhere you can use a credit card.
It can be poorly expressed without being incorrect. While I (and, I expect, most people who read it) understood it just fine, we have evidence that at least one person (simulcra) thought it was ambiguous. When you're talking to humans ambiguity is largely a matter of perception, so if someone thinks it's ambiguous that probably means that it is. And ambiguity breeds confusion, which is never a good thing. Also, the adjective "poor" is ope
Number 4 is needed, too. Make it work the way it did in GalCiv1.
