Came here from my post here as I've been having this issue for over a year, well before the "incident". I also encounter adding new posts taking several minutes to complete. Hopefully someone can find the cause as it's quite frustrating.
I believe the slow forum issue should have been resolved this week.

You can create popup menus pinned to the taskbar which can help.
The rounded taskbar feature is not compatible with vertical taskbars.
After deleting the Group registry value then setting DelayedAutoStart to 1, delayed start works, it also has the desired effect of not starting until everything else has already loaded in the OS. This could have been an easy change on your end without users having
Build 27971 is a Canary channel Insider release of Windows. Like every other company we will offer zero formal support for that OS. I would imagine something is incompatible with whatever you are using to display videos and causing an issue. This is not normal.
Well, I tried the full screen, and although far from what I was aiming for, it is indeed workable. But, another problem surfaced. The software makes my PCs crash in a weird way, which forces me to reboot the PC. I verified it was multiplicity that causes the crash, by unloading the software, and getting a PC to run for several days without crashing. If I load it, it will cause a crash while the P
What error does it display?
This may be a factor : Graphic card on my Windows 10: NVIDIA 930M 1 GB and Intel HD Graphics 520 (128 MB) I would imagine this dual setup is liable to cause problems on the primary.
I discovered this thread while trying to find an answer to some issues I'm now experiencing after updating to Win 11 25H2 (26200.6899). Taskbar icons are having rendering issues and seem to jump / slide from side-to-side. The Start button disappears completely, and the Windows key on the keyboard must be used. Explorer.exe restarts or complete
Delayed start is purely a Windows OS level thing (it just doesn't start the service until later). Apps do not need to add in support for it so this would suggest another cause.
When you do the seamless display connection, does anything appear on the secondary computers monitor? You should see a fullscreen window open.
I was using Start 11 for a vertical taskbar on the left for a couple months but recently (past week+) it's continually crashing and restarting anytime I interact with it beyond clicking a taskbar item (to focus on a window). Start button? Crashes Right click to configure Start 11 with context menu? Crashes Anyone have a clue? im on most recent version as of this post: 2.55 It's
If you update to the 2.3 beta you should find the pinning works again for you.
That's almost certainly the issue yes. Unfortunately out of our control.
Groupy is not in charge of deciding if a new window should be opened. Does it only happen if the other Firefox instance is not the active tab in the group (i.e. the window would be invisible) Also do you have the taskbar set to hire buttons for inactive windows in a group?
Was it working in 2.55?
We can only support browsers which offer a way to expose what sites are open in them. Comet is not one we have any support for and I don't know if it has any way to expose the details or not, we would have to look. It depends on if it is based on Chromium or not.
Taskbar pins are an OS thing not a Start11 one so are not backed up as physical files on the HD.
But that is exactly what I did. Is there a setting that makes the window border of the KVM disappear? Like you can make the make the windows task bar disappear, and be visible if you float your mouse pointer above it?
Set the window to full screen and the control bar will only show at the top of the screen when you hover over it.
Do the apps with broken icons actually launch ok?
I'm experiencing issues with Windows Explorer crashing repeatedly almost every time I open a file or folder from the Start Menu after updating to 2.55. I'm using the Windows 11 style Start Menu and enhanced taskbar with the following customization: Icon size: 17 px Button width: 22 px Button height: 18 px I found that the issue only occurs when Button width is set to anything lower than 28 px AND when using
You just need to set the secondary computer to match the resolution of the monitor you are displaying it on or at least match aspect ratio.
This means the secondary is unable to connect into the primary for the clipboard data. Typically this would be a firewall issue on the primary or the use of some sort of VPN tool on the secondary that is messing with packets. For example Tailscale will cause this.
My account is admin account... I downgraded to Multiplicity v3... and probably that what I going to have to use for now till issue is fixed.
The problem here is it may never be fixed as the issue in this original thread was resolved a long time ago. You have similar symptoms but probably an entirely different cause and we have no other reports of this.
I would redownload the installer as that can happen if the file is corrupted on download.
