Cutscenes in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Since I am always for more visual and audio goodies, I always liked the cutscenes in the first one. It is not the top priority for the game of course, but I hope they will not be completely cut. The more the better

Looks in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I have no idea how the game will actually look, but I would like to see the action (main map) of the game to be a bit more visual stimulating. While I like the graphics in GC, I do find the main map graphics (map, ships etc) a bit on the too plain variety. Now, I am not asking for a complete change of the game to make it say with a 3D map or something, but, perhaps having at least larger ship graphics? Even if it is available through "zooming in" to

Some notes in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I have the game for a while now, and although I am not very good at it I still like it a lot. Some general observations on it. It is difficult to explain but I feel like the main map (where the game is played) feels a bit too much zoomed in but at the same time the ships feel like they are zoomed out too much. I don't know if I make myself clear. :notsure: Perhaps the "problem" is mainly with the ships ? They feel too "short" in length and all of them too similar (in looks).

First of all I want to clarify something, games like this that I like and don't like. Don't like: MOO series, yes I am alone, but I just don't like them. Love: BOTF, Star General, Rebellion, Supremacy, Millenium 2.2, you get the picture... Now considering what I said, here is my wishlist though I know most of them cannot happen in a sequel because stardock don't want them :-) 1. Oh, somethibng that I forgot to mention, i have end turn skip ships movement to off. If I leave it to on the it seems I have even less control to when the turn ends and in combination with the above problem I have complete chaos in my hands. :( ~SDC~

Same old question. in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I am back to this game after a "break" of a couple of months. The same thing keeps irritating me to immense proportions. I have asked this before, and I don't remember the answer, but my guess is that I wasn't satisfied or else I wouldn't need to ask this again. :-) Here is the problem. jul 2179 my first ship has 2/2 moves and no set point (autopilot) I right click on a destination and it moves but also the date changes to aug and the screen is centered on a recently bui

A couple of questions in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

1) I bought the game with the download plus package by mail option. I downlaoded and installed the game and all is well. After a few days the game arrived through the post. But I couldn't find a serial number there, does that mean that I can use (if I want to reinstall the game or whatever) the serial that I got with the downloaded part?
