I've played through the campaign and 1 regualr game so far, and here are some bugs I have found: 1) The Saroog dragon egg quest is broken. After returning with the egg and having it say the dragon would join me, nothing happened and I had no dragon. 2) Lots of the enemy unit text gets cut off, or in many cases, overlaps on top of text. 3) The current method of displaying owned shards in the top bar is a bad idea. MoM for sure! That is one of my favorite games of all time. With updated graphics, fewer bugs, multiplayer capability and perhaps real-time or semi-real-time combat, this would be a dream come true. SC doesn't even compare.
I like the one Terror Star module per turn idea. This should also be augmented by the AI immediately responding the turn after you add the first TS module (it should recognize this as a major threat immediately and respond by attempting to destroy it and/or threaten you with all-out war).
I just logged on to SDC for the first time in over a month. After downloading the build 26 update, the program hung. After about 3 minutes, it came back with an error saying it couldn't "read the memory" at a specific location and closed. I then reopened SDC and it seemed to be working fine, but I couldn't get the expansion pack to show (it was only showing me I was current, with version 1.05). I tried to Refresh Application Data, but still no luck. I then click on something like
Or, along with Bearcave's request, another size between Medium (64 sectors) and Large (144 sectors -- more than twice as big!). A 10x10 galaxy size would be great for those of us looking for something a bit larger than medium but without the time to play a Large galaxy. Thanks
With all the changes that have been made to ship/tech costs and stats, is there any place we can go to find out the CURRENT stats for all ships, as well as the research cost for all techs (those that have changed, anyway)?
CariElf, I bet if Germany attacked France now, England would sure think twice about helping them out ;).
I couldn't agree more, Vernmeister2u. The First amendment only protects you from governmental consequences and says nothing about private citizens and corporations. If you want to roll those dice, fine (wrong as you may be), but if you want to play that game, you have to be willing to accept the consequences of losing. Pandering to an anti-Bush London crowd got them exactly what they deserved. Although I am not a fan of country music, I feel compelled to defend its fans that have bee
Great joke, DblDamage! Vridian, it sounds like your politicians formulate their positions solely based on thwarting the opposition, regardless of how good an idea it is or what the best interests of the public are. Unfortunately, you are seeing that more and more here in America from the Democrats (e.g., fighting tax cuts, which have been repeatedly proven to be the biggest factor in triggering economic growth). Of course, if a Democrat somehow wins in 2004, watch how quickl
Let's keep the left-wing politics off the boards, Jeff.
