Same here. It seems my Designs/desktop.ini is not being created. When I copy all the GRM stuff that is the one file I have to skip or abort.

I like the compatibility idea but 2 would make life easier so go with 2.

At the moment I have spys on my world from a planet mine or their ships can not reach. Spys are physical and should only go as far as ships can take them. An exception I guess is they are moved to another planet while in some sort of cryogenic suspension. And another could be the diplomatic communications make some of my citizens sympathetic to them and spy for them.

After I choose to invade I see the real picture. Some people will scatter their legions and want to move them before starting. Is their a way to unplace them so they can be replaced. Along with that after you see the real picture you may want to retreat. To do that would randomly cost 25-50 percent of your legions.

I can buy a starbase or ship or colony but not a shipyard. I can not simply destroy it for am allied with them.

Other size maps it is no prob to look around but on Ludicrous maps it takes forever to find someone. Could you add a button to the minimap to zoom to an area after clicking on the name of the civ in a dropdown menu.

I am able to beat them with fire power but could not send a spy to them. Is this by design. Oh; 500+ turns in to a Lud. map.

One s - scout 2 s joined - light attack 3 s med fighter 3 s dif sizes heavy attack 4 balls as one super ship 5 in a chain colony and freighter Dont forget antennas and communication dishes etc. Each ball can have unique add ons. Like putting together legos Ball types: command, weapons, engines, life support, medical, troops, cargo/storage, colony, constructor, survey, etc.

A pragmatic race with simple designs like spheres and cubes. Thinking what will take the stress of moving in a 3d environment. A malevolent race that designs ships like swords. A benevolent race that likes curves and the such to make ships works of art.

Would a reinstall of GRM do it. I wonder if the GRM overrides any files and GC put them back to norm. My 1/2 cent.

Lava world. You can not colonize it but you can get lots of Durantium. Rock world. You can colonize it but the atmosphere is CO2 so must be in domes causing fewer tiles to be available. To get more Tiles you need to research better domes. Starbase with a colony Ring. In place of military rings. A colony ring would give more influence and diplomacy then other rings but not as much as a world.

IMHO the complaints come from GC being actively updated and changed so much. Another complaint would be that when things change people think it is a bug when their old strategy does not work.. In fairness some bugs get introduced but are being actively squashed ASAAP. Games can have big hype live short and die or do like GC is doing and focus on the long term.
