Followup I do have all the settings turned down or off as can. That I can see. Heat kill laptops. I have another laptop from 2012 and keeping it cool helps it to run to this day.

I now keep my CPU and GPU at 40 or below. I used my Advanced power options in W11 to have my CPU only work at 15% and in apps the game only uses my integrated GPU. The problem is multi program running do not like it and the game turns are slower. and mouse movements are slow. Temps are a big thing to me so I live with it.

It is nothing compared to **II. After a few min I had to close or have a melted door stop called a laptop. I found out how to put my integrated GPu to less and used Nivida Control panel Also my 2070 to less using MSI Afterburnner and NCP

For those that are unipue about temps. I have the game on Steam. OS is reviOS (cut-down versioan of Windows 11 pro) CPU is a 9750 that uses only 15% of power (setting in Control Panel/ Power/Change power settings/Advanced) GPU uses my Integrated GPU (Intel 670 and all the settings are reduced AMAP I also have shared RAM with my 2070 Max-Q. I just turnned everything down and reset my nVidea Control panel/Manage 3D settings to as low as it would go for this game. I am about the stratagy; not the eye candy.

The second is more for me. For I made the digitizers and want to customize it easily. Others may want to do this. It is a wish that is on the to do list' but way down there. This came about for me by not having the pic I needed at first.

For me it was intuitive. Looks nice to me. Could you set the size to the resolution one is using instead of what the screen/video card can do. In the future ability to edit custom civs. Also description of what the pics need to be if you add custom ones.

Probe auto surved to the annomoly but could not survey it. One or the other please. Also the original Discovery. There is a popup that says only survey ships... But they survey just fine and upgrade the ship fine. Now I get the survey warning 3-5 times every turn start.

my first guess is anti-virus is now blocking aafter the upgrade to 0.9 the picture says it is stopped loading part way through like it and not read a blocked file. if anti does nothing then verify. if that des not work then uninstall and reinstall the game.

A home planet that enhances or destroyes their abilities. For refugees a planet that is not the greatest for them is optimal.

An option in setup so one can play a long involved game if they want. I am simply thinking of how to make a game longer and more involved. I came from the school that played PBEM's so many months is no big deal to me.
