A .ini file is a file that contains all the scripts and codes that the program will follow to perform certain tasks, but I dont know where are you getting this file since all theme suites are zipped into a .suite format. After you download a suite, it will be place automatically in the ThemeManager Theme folder. All you have to do then is: -Open the ThemeManager/WinStyle program. -Scroll down the list for the theme you want to apply. -Click on it once to highlight it. -Click
Apocalypse_67
Have a very Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday!! Sorry for the lateness, but I'm glad you had a wonderful time
To use a WinStyle suite you will need the ThemeManager/WinStyle program https://www.stardock.com/products/winstyles/
It's the latest 'fad' alright. Just put Aero in your skin title and it will double your downloads True that, it happened before when XP was on the verge of release, everything with XP on the title was getting noticed, then we got the same reaction with Longhorn, now its Aero's turn to get the spotlight <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/
You are all concerned about low ratings, there is one guy who puts a 10 on everything regardless I'm sorry Fuzzy, I'll try not to that anymore. J/K But if is not too much trouble, can you give that guy the link to my library?? <img src="http://image
Have you tried Cable or T1
Koasati, I read your comment, but failed to make the connection. My appologies.
Maybe something could be hard-coded to prevent a rating be applied unless the dl link is clicked first.....might reduce drive-by idiots. This sounds like a really good idea. BTW Jafo, is the new star rating implementing the system where a rating score given by a Journeyman, Master, Admin, etc 'weights' more than one given by a regular user?
The only negative thing I see with the new star rating is that it encourages more of a personal rating rather than a rating granted on the overall skin's performance/usability. The 5 stars are represented as 'I hate it, I dont like it, It's ok, I like it and I love it' A skin that is very usable and performs very well, might get a 2 star rating just because the user 'Dont like' let's say...the color, or the round shaped buttons. IMHO the read out should be more like 'Bad, Poor, Fair,
......and yet another lost soul in the vast void of WB Message Board.
It's nice to read you again Leo. Good luck and we hope to see you here more active soon.
Listen to Koasati and allways keep in mind this: -NEVER download or install anything before reading the instructions or specifications. As you can see on that website, all the comments are negative. (that is not a good sign to start with) I second Koasaty's suggestion. Backup/Save all necesary files or documents. Format and re-install XP and dont ever do this again.
We're looking good now
One word.... Copyrights. I have yet to see a StarWars skin or theme here at WC. I dont think Mr Lucas is ready to grant permission just yet. There are however a lot of fan-art designs out there
Happy Birthday Paul. Have a great one and may you celebrate many more. I guess you wont be needing that fake
Any word on when will the wall be uploaded?? BTW. I like the light version best. Just my oppinion [Message Edited]
http://Apocalypse67.wincustomize.com Man, this is so cool. Thanks to all resposible for this
Thanks DWatson. It was fun making it. And I echo JD's words. This community ROCKS!!
Have you or anyone with access to your PC change the color of the skin thru the WB configuration? Is this the only skin that shows with different color? Have you try to delete the skin and download it again?
DWatson you got mail. /me had to revert back to his hoodlum days on the train yards of NYC >
My best advice is to go to the WindowBlinds library and type the work BLUE on the search box. Im sure you'll find something there
Paxx, that is not my screenshot, I borrowed it from the animation library, but now that you've mentioned it, someone is going around with a D: drive as a trash can
This is animation. I know for sure it's available in WB 4.2 and up Im not so sure about 4.0
Frogboy, are all the wallpapers, sounds and animations, preset or they can individually be set by the user? and also, can new wallpapers and sound be added?
Saw that I always knew the admin job was not an easy one.
