To change the color you have open the skin, click on "XP taskbar".....click the taskbar button in the preview window..... Click on "Taskbar button horizontal image".....then open that image with your image editor and change the correct subimage.Hope this helps.... Windowblinds doesn't use that much system resources. Very little in fact. I also like to keep my resources down but I think Windowblinds is worth it. Not a resource hog....
