I don't agree....IMO, no one else's marriage/divorce influences mine, nor should mine influence anyone else's. Poetmom99 I'm finding more and more that this is an exception and not the rule. I have a 35 year old friend at work theat constantly watches reality shows. I asked her why she likes the

Very interesting, thought provoking article. Personally, I thought the divorce rate was much higher than 50% now. I have a hard time remembering which friends and relatives are still on their first marriage........sad I know. I've been raising my 9 year old son solo for almost 8 years now and still remember my ex-wife's last words to me before she untied the knot. "There are more important things out there than love and I don't want to miss out on
Why would the left wing US media cover these stories? That would go against the very core of their agenda. Why cloud everyone's judgement with positive news in Iraq when they (the media) can drone on about Michael Moore's "hate America" tour through Europe and how the NAACP is angry that Bush won't provide them with an easy target at a speaking engagement when they have already slandered him in every way possible. Or better yet, we can be pelted wit
I'm no sexpert but I do see two things we had in common when I was practicing involuntary abstinence - booze and buddies. Those things NEVER helped me out in my quest for the holy grail lol. Janders said it best - It'll happen when the time is right.
In light of how badly the US Air Force got it's collective ass kicked by the Indian Airforce in recent war game exercises, however, the USA's perceived ability to impose it's will on the rest of the world is perhaps incongruent with reality. Nice try but........First - nothing in that article suggests t
Oh and by the way during the time it took for you to rant about how much you love Bush, another GI and another at least 3 Iraqis have met their pathetic end. Tick tock tick tock.... Speaking of rational thought, I wonder how long it took for Saddam to gas thousands of Kurds. I wonder how long it took S
My wish pick would be to have a static tab set that would switch docks for you when ed. I also have fly outs that don't function.
It appears that some may need to be reminded of exactly what western civilization is confronting with respect to the middle east. For years islamic extremists have infiltrated western society, received college educations, procured very good jobs and started organizations that funneled extremely large sums of money back to terrorist groups like Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hizballah and Al-Aqusa Martyrs Brigade. This has been all too easy to accomplish with ou
hmmmm.....the ObjectDock page on stardocks site shows a 7/13/04 date. Is that release date or is it today - Friday 7/9/04? I'm going bonkers checking the page every 5 minutes lol. I obviously want this bad
Robin Williams
His PC crashes every hour....wow. Solution: stop spending the whole workday downloading shady warez off of kazaa. Your registry must be a swamp lol The last time Windows XP Pro crashed on me was.......well, hasn't happened yet actually. Then again, I built this baby from the ground up (something you can't do with a mac) and I take good care of her <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles
We can debate the morality of the actions and/or inaction of the USA over the last 30 years until we're blue in the face. We might get better results though by putting our political party affiliations aside for a moment and just looking at what we're dealing with. "to know thy enemy is to defeat thy enemy" For years islamic extremists have infiltrated American society, received college educations, procured very good jobs and started organizations that funneled extremely large sums of mo
Tiggz that skin is just flat-out sweeeeet! Count me as your first download for that one A+++++
f0r3....that seems to work for me but I swear I can remember being able to paste in the location of the folder I want to assign to a specific icon and having it work. I stopped using OD ver 1.0 because it pushed my CPU to 100%. 1.02 doesent do that but this had me perplexed. thanks for the workaround
PixelCargo - If you're referring to conservative politicians using the media to spread fear to make us Americans all puppets, then they are not doing a very good job of it. Most of the American media is overtly liberal - CNN, MSNBC, NPR, NBC, CBS, ABC, New York Times, LA Times, Washington Post, etc., etc. All have little to no conservative voices spreading "fear" or pulling our strings. In fact, most of these media outlets focus solely on this administrations failures and rarely (if ever) on
I'm with Koasati. Alaskan Malamute. After spending 7 years in Anchorage Alaska and having 4 myself, I just adore mine. Some even say owners and their dogs eventually exhibit similar facial characteristics
I can not get any links to work for any shortcuts I create with the exception of .exe's When I paste in the link to the folder I want to open and "ok"....nothing happens. I go back to the Item properties and the link is gone??????....WTF is wrong here?! OD 1.02
Well I just saw it last night and I can now say that I will be 100% NOT voting for Kerry!! That was the most shameless piece of leftist propaganda that I have ever WASTED money on but I figured I cant *itch if I haven't seen it. I've always been a centrist but Moore and his ilk are pushing me closer to the right everytime they try to insult my intelligence with their rhetoric . [Message Edited]
IPlural I had a mac theme going and found a perfect OB theme so I grabbed it. I have since tired of the whole Mac OSX look so I guess I really dont need to run OB now. I just loaded ObjectDock again and yup.....it is back to laaaaaaag Darn it - and I really like ObjDock too. AMD 3200+ laptop - I'm green with envy <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/grim.gif" border=0 ALIGN="
Thanks for the tips Koasati. I think I've narrowed it down to Objectbar and/or Objectdock. I've got WB, and FX running with no slowdown. I had a Mac OSX Objectbar theme that seemed laggy. ObjectDock only had the weather docklet but I think this app is the main offender in my case. Does the CPU have anything to do with how well Obj Desktop apps are handled? AMD vs Intel? Jafo - thanks but I've already established that unloading some of the mentioned apps makes a huge difference in responsiveness. If it were hardly noticeable I would subscribe to the single word answer of fiction as well. I'm just hoping there is something I can do or an explanation that will end my frustration. I read the fact/fiction thread on Windowblinds and found it very informative - thanks to frogboy. WB by itself causes me no noticeable drag. sidenote - When running Object Do
When I have Iconpackager, Windowblinds, WindowFX, ObjectBar and Object Dock running, my system experiences significant drag. Whan I unload all but one or two of these apps it is instantly responsive once again. I've read many threads about this and find that everyone has different views on this. Is it just a trade-off that I have to accept (looks for speed) or is there something I can do to lessen the drag on my resources? I find it hard to believe that I need to upgrade my hardware being th
