Henley's comment was right on the money I would prefer that these types of comments, and those of other entertainers, stay "off" of the money. Unless they advertize as political commentary/concerts, they risk alienating half their fans and should expect them to promptly express their opinions. Why can

In his convention speech, Kerry spoke more often about his service record than his Senate record Madine, Not only at the convention. He has carefully molded this into a centerpiece of his campaign. Personally, I would much rather focus on his years in the Senate than a few months in Vietnam but no
I'm ashamed we have people in the United States who think like that. Okay......I would have to agree that Ron's ballet dancing proves nothing about him, nor does it carry any weight with respect to any disagreements one may have with Ron or this article. Having said that, I'm ashamed that we have people
It's no secret and certainly not news that Ron Reagan is a left wing ideologue. He appears to have covered every talking point that the DNC would expect from him in his article. Whether your liberal or conservative, this covers no new ground and....YAWN....further reinforces his place in left wing loonie land.
I purchased Counter-Strike Condition Zero a few weeks ago and, at this point, have mixed feelings about it. I'm still a noob to Counter-Strike but an on-line gaming vet with games like Halo and Unreal Tournament. For the first 2 weeks I played the AI to get a basic understanding of everything - obviously, going online right out of the box would just be asking for a raping. The beginner and normal levels were pretty easy to shoot thru but hard and ve
Bush had been in office for 2 months functioning under the previous administration's budget. now now BakerStreet, you know better than to confuse Liberal Dem with the facts. Although it's been tried many times before Liberal Dem, it was a good attempt to blame Bush for the sagging economy right out
No matter how powerful of a lobbying group that it is, the demand for equality and acceptance into the mainstream is certainly not the top goal of the KKK (considering that they do everything in their power to see fit that the oppressed stay oppressed) Okay.......I have no arguement with that statement.
I will say one of my pet peeves is when gratuitous sexual behavior is paraded in the public (such as the floats that are presented by the media from "gay pride" parades). I feel the same way about heterosexual behavior, though...and hold the same standard. The actual sexual behavior belongs in the bedroom. <
Far LEFT weenies will always think I'm a right wing "loon" because to them, EVERYONE looks like a far right loon other than people who share their own vision of the world. Well said and absolutly true! BTW.......How does the NAACP still maintain a tax exempt status when it is clearly a partisan left
This article is very interesting indeed. It touches on many of the core truths of modern relationships - the good and the not so good. I would like to add an item or two that I have found in my personal experiences. I believe that most of the items on this list exist in widely varying degrees depending on where you live. I spent a couple of years in Montana and found (on average) relationships to be very traditional. When I moved to the Washington
The lower mag wide field of view eyepieces are great for moon views but not so much for tiny specs.
You must be using a low magnification eyepiece like a 40 to 56mm. A good 6.4mm has a small field of view but good magnification. In combination with your high quality Meade optics, you will be happy with the results.
That scope is a beauty. Meade has always given me top quality. I have a Meade Schmidt-newtonian 8" (SN-8) with the LXD-75 mount. I have a wide range of Meade Super Plossl eyepieces from 6.4mm on up. Quality eyepieces are critical if you want to view the nightsky and be inspired by it's complexities. Jupiter is a favorite of mine. With the 6.4mm I can see the great red spot and the subtle color bands running across the planet. The beautiful range
despite smattering of jeers, it appeared to me as if lance armstrong was welcomed warmly as he entered paris at the end of the tour de france. i gotta wonder if our citizens would be as gracious if the situation were reversed and a french athlete took the championship of an 'american' sport 6 years in a row. <B
I think the Cheney/Mrs. Kerry comments are very different in that Mrs. Kerry was asked about her "unamerican" comment - which, by the way, was recorded in fact -- and she denied saying it. I have no problem with Mrs Kerry or Cheney venting their frustration while the tape is rolling. I actually prefer to see the more human side of politics. What I do expect is that you stand by your own words..........Mrs. Kerry dropped the ball on this one.
I can see how people can get tired of the media hounds but if asked to clarify something that you said (on tape) and you deny it only to reply with "shove it" well, your asking for trouble. Thank God for a person with guts enough to say what she thinks. Reporters are just bully goons at times and they need someone to tal
When can I get an ATI skin?! My 9800 pro would be very happy
I think she made statements at the end of her concert. She has every right to dedicate one of her songs. There are many celebrities that feel they have a responsibilty and should use their voice for good while they are on the stage. WiseFawn Do you feel the same way about the NAACP telling Bill Cosb
I wish they'd just shut up and sing. They're singers. They abuse their celebrity when they start making audiences listen to their ignorant political opinions.I support their right to give their opinion though. And I support the right of consumers to choose not to pay to listen to it. Draginol.....I thin
I can't put Coulter in the same maggot nest as the one Moore feeds in, although I will consider doing so when she tours Europe and belts out how stupid and ignorant Americans are - like Moore so graciously did. ugh @ that visual. Think thats a scarey visual..........imagine Moore!@#$*:0. I shu
I believe that Fahrenheit 911 has 27 out of 33 positive reviews An article originally from the Washington Times suggests that some are not happy at all with Moore's propaganda piece. The family of U.S. Air Force Maj. Gregory Stone was shocked to learn that video footage of the major's Arlington
Pretty much what I expected athough I was shocked that Kerry was not dead last on my list. 2. Bush, President George W. - Republican (70%) 3. Kerry, Senator John, MA - Democrat (54%) 4. Lieberman, Senator Joe, CT - Democrat (54%) 5. Kucinich, Rep. Dennis, OH - Democrat (53%) 6. Edwards, Senator John, NC - Democrat (49%) 7. Gephardt, Rep. Dick, MO - Democrat (49%) 8. Dean, Gov. Howard, VT - D
political correctness 101 lol I understand that flight attendants is the only officially accepted term for this occupation now but I'm curious as to how/when/why the term steward(ess) became demeaning? I used to work airport security many years ago and understand what it's like to deal with hundreds/thousands of angry, impatient people all day. It's hard to keep on the happy face when you're constantly a public punching bag but it was nev
While saving the life of Angelo de la Cruz is a noble endeavor, there is a profound statement being made by Spain and the Philippines that terrorist groups are hearing loud and clear. If you wish to break the will of our countries, you now know exactly what to do.
Headline News: US Declares War on World, Before they Declare War on us First! In a pre-emptive strike against the Nations of the world, the US has organized the Third World War in an effort to reduce terror and fight those that hate us for our freedoms. George Bush had thi
