Concern over PERMANENT licences in Accounts and Activation Help Stardock Forums

With the recent rise in "PERMANENT" licences being made invalid by certain publishers in favor of subscriptions, I have to ask: can the stardock team warrant that our purchased permanent licences will remain perpetual? I'm sure other users have thought about this, so I hope you won't dismiss my concern as a +10 year user of your software products
