If you feel the rejection was in error, you can contact [email protected], but the ones that I have been rejecting have been mostly copyright/trademark related.
I entered a ticket to support. They have not been able to tell me much. They do not know why my entry was rejected or whether I will be allowed to resubmit. I was asking what was wrong with my star name so I could ei

I don't think any answers we have will help you. If you want the game to play outside its normal excessive limits, but you don't want to mod it, what is supposed to happen? I am a fan of huge galaxies as well and do not foresee any issues with that subject. I fully expect to either use some interesting setting in game or pick up somebody else's neat little mod. I fully expect to be able to create galaxies bigger than my OCD micromanagement compulsion

Thanks for the opportunity. It was a new experience for me, seeing a live stream of a game, and then having it be such an interesting look at the alpha process. I may not be able to attend regularly, but it was definitely fun as a live experience. People should try it.

I am learning to like the wheel control. I don't see why it couldn't also display itself as three sliders based on where you put the wheel dot. I have seen tools do that. I don't see why it can't also give you text blocks with a place to type in absolute numbers. We all have different ways of looking at this. They are all valid. Obviously that would be cluttered. How about we leave the little wheel as is? But, if you d

I do not understand the idea that strange names will somehow break immersion. I mean, have you looked at the strange and wonderful town and other place names we have in reality? How can anything we come up with compare with "Intercourse, Pennsylvania"? It is my understanding that such place names occur in all geographies, cultures, and languages. I would very much expect to see the same naming trend in space.

I have no idea why you needed to add so many paragraphs to the general subject of trolls. Everybody here knows all about trolls, so you have no new information to add. Most people just get angrier reading about trolls, which is one of the things we know fuels trolling. Was there something constructive you were trying to accomplish, or did you (and I, by replying) just spill some of Steam's troll load onto Stardock fourms?
The vertical movement of the ships disturbs me... Maybe have a setting that shows a smooth movement? Anyways, the video is rather very limited in actual gameplay.
Not thrilled with that movement display either. My legs and balance are all shot. The ship movement reminds me of what people say I look like walking down a sidewalk. Like a drunk sailor he

Wow. Gamers that understand that gaming isn't always priority over everything. Another reason to love this community. I will have to wait patiently because I have work commitments. Well, I will have to pretend to wait patiently because I have work commitments.

I know what you mean that the cure feels worse than the disease. But you really need to keep trying. There are enough meds out there that there is a chance one will be decent for you. Everybody's metabolism and body chemistry is different and you have to do your own health management sometimes. It's worth it to find what works for you, even if it is only something that helps mitigate symptoms a little better. I find that that
The main issues are that as humans we are actually pretty bad at visualizing in 3D. We don't even like verticality, which is why the upper shelf in retail is called a 'retail death sentence'. Or why popular toys and candy is always lower, eye level with children. Nothing we do actually forces us to think in 3D which is why generally speaking 3D maps are very very confusing
we really need a better name for it I see it as functionally a joystick control. "Production" is too long a prefix. I want to call it a "prodstick". It's a stick I use to prod my population in different directions. Empire prodstick and local prodstick. Works for me.

As for life itself, the people I know that are benevolent do so because it is the only way they know how to be. Many people consider it a weakness. I don't. As for the game, the balance between good and evil decisions was definitely off as a gameplay thing.

As far as I know, the AI in GalCiv2 uses background time during users turn, and not the in between turn time you see. That time is strictly a display time to show you moving ships. You may be interrupting display updates more than actual processing. I don't think there is a fix for that.

I'm proud to be a walking misconception of ignorance, I tell you. It's taken years of study to get this ignorant. I re-read the OP and I have to say I still interpret it as a general response. The squirrels and teddy bears were just easy examples of what was called " the lighthearted humor in Galciv" which seems to include the diplomacy and technology dialogues and general tone. Perhaps the OP would like to chime in with a clarification of "grown up".

3D is less functionality for me. I have extreme trouble using any 3D display I have had access to so far. I guess that makes me one of those "less able to orientate themselves" you seem to dismiss so easily. That makes it "less good" for me. If, as you state, maps can be flattened, then there is no actual gameplay or functionality added with the 3D, only a pretty display. 3D has no functionality, some eyecandy, and impedes immersion. Personally, I p
