Finally got lucky......

Don't know about you other guys but here we go again, out of nowhere, severe thunderstorms and 3 tornado warnings already! Here's one of the pictures from Sunday night:
Thank you Essencay, I was wondering what that meant when I was made one! I'm glad I'm considered positive.
Oh, and I''m right on the Memphis, Tennessee/Mississippi state line. [Message Edited]
One spotted about 10 miles southwest of us, two 5-6 miles east and another about 3-4 miles north. Just warnings, of course, NWS hasn't determined anything yet. I never heard the noise nor felt the drop in pressure so I figured it was safe enough to photograph the wonderful light show.
Doesn't slow things down at all. That's the goodness of the programs.
We had the same mess, not too much damage though, thank goodness and no one was injured. I did get some really cool photos out of it. The neighbors probably think I'm rather wierd, sitting on the front porch with a camera while the sirens are sounding. Glad you were missed Snidely, hope recovery is quick.
How big is Peru? Are tornadoes common there? [Message Edited]
Jeeze, all these tornado warnings, I can't hang around to see the solution.
My husband had the same problem when he installed his ATI Radeon 9600 Pro card. He had to do something with the bios (?) and then there was a switch inside that he had to move to the other setting. I know that's not any help but I thought it may help if you knew it wasn't unusual and probably is not the card.
Under setting in iconpackager there is a box to uncheck also. [Message Edited]
Hmm. I know which one you're speaking of but I can't find it either!
OK, I asked my dad, old country guy. He says to feed them Juicy Fruit gum. No kidding! It's gonna kill them though. Between that and the lime you shouldn't have a gopher problem any more.
I've heard those work pretty good.
Oh yeah, good point........
Welcome! Another US here, please do post your skins, I would love to see them.
That's a good idea! Try a Maine Coone mix, they're good and fun to watch. Also, if you like dogs, the Jack Russell terriers are great gopher hunters!
By the way NightTrain, you were right about the masterpiece, just not a skin. My mom and dad are having their 50th class reunion and I have to make the new annuals they are gonna pass out. It would be easier if there weren't so many deceased to pull out of the original! I've got to make 80 of them........
I'm sorry it took me so long to find this! NightTrain was right, I found your request on a blind. Please do upload the rainlender, provide a link to it so I can admire it.
OK. Down to business. First, my cats do like birds, they don't drop them on the doorstep though. They bring those in the house and I have to chase them down!!! Now, I remember having a bad skunk problem when I lived in the country, (got skunks in Oz?) and lime took care of them. Yep, LIME! That white powdery stuff. I don't know if gophers are rodents or what, skunks are feline, but the lime worked be
If you have a co-op, there are tasty pellets you can buy that will kill the little buggers. Either that or, if you don't want to kill them, stick a water hose in the hole and just let it run. If that doesn't work, I would suggest a cat or 2, mine keep my yard gopher free. I do have to admit though that seeing a dead one on the doorstep first thing in the morning is NOT pleasant!
I would like the answer to Keila's question also!
This is pretty cool! Thanks for the link.
