What do I need to download to have a fully functional Mac looking desktop?

WindowBlinds with a mac10 theme or whichever macOS suites your fancy.
ObjectBar with a mac10 theme or see above.
maybe DesktopX with some apple doo-dads.
I've never seen mac cursors, but you might also need CursorXP.

Doesn't slow things down at all. That's the goodness of the programs.

if you want the complete experience:
iconpackager to apply a macosx theme of icons to your entire machine
windowblinds for the look
objectdock for the bottom bar
objectbar for the finder
windowsfx for the window shadows and transition effects

i wanted the completely experience myself when i started in this stuff, so i bought objectdesktop which includes all of those above programs, then had my way with the machine. like werewolf said, desktopx is also usefull because it gives you 'widgets' like mac users have. that comes in the package as well.

the cursors you can apply manually, i've seen a couple mac themes include the macosx cursors.

in addition, windows exposer is not a stardock program but will give you the expose functionality, if you so desire.. tho their site has been offline for a week now.

the wallpaper library here also includes mac wallpapers.

rumor has it there is a macosx shell replacement out there somewhere. personally i hate the mac shell interface but if its what you want, let me know if you find it.

eer.. oh yeah. performance: windows fx and desktopx will be best with a good fast processor and are enchanced by a better video card, but you in no way need a fancy card to get a good look - this comming from experience. windowblinds, which changes window's ultimate appearance, is in fact FASTER then window's by itself and uses little resources (see 'facts and myths about windowblinds'). the more you've got plugged in to each program the more resources they are going to use but ultimately, they don't use much.

I jusy looked into it and I don''t think Objectbar is part of the Object Desktop package. I could be wrong.

Objectbar is included Objectdock isn't....it's freeware....I get them confuss'd at times too

Some of the software is straight out freeware like Objectdock. Other software is available as a freeware trial with some features limited, so that you can try before you decide to buy

hope you like it/buy it. its freakin' fun stuff. i wore out of the mac look when i realized i could surpass the interface with one of my own design. objectbar is king.

No it''s not. I have a OD subsciption and it''s not on the list in SDC. Maybe it''s just SDC screwing up.

Kona, Object Bar is included with an Object Desktop subscription. On the Object Desktop Tab of the Software page in SDC, if you click on the little button that says More>> at the bottom of the software list, you will see it.
