I was thinking the same thing Randy......I think if he engaged lock and then un-installed the registry would still show the connection locked. If he re-installs the firewall it may very well solve the problem. Might have something.......it may have captured your com port....I'll assume you were set to com2. Go into device manager and change it to com4 and see if it connects..... you can also go to internet options/ setup connections and run the wizard ....maybe it will pick it up for you <BR

I've had ZA Pro for several years and never had problems ( for what that's worth), but you didn't say if you actually un-installed it and then the problem started. First of all, make sure you downloaded the free version http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jsp and then you might want to re-install to see if the problem goes away. winXP boot manager has no mouse support, so you need to use the keyboard (cursor keys and enter) to select win98 as the OS to boot. for what it's worth...XP has no USB mouse support...if you want a mouse use an adapter and plug into Mobo.
