if you know what your allie is thinking and if u can change to what he is doing
You see, humans are unable to read each other's minds. That's why they came up with this thing called language! It allows humans to communicate with each other! To use this "language" during games you need to type things on your keyboard to the other players. This way they don't need to attempt to divine your intentions from tea leaves.
How many other demigods can say that they can max all 4 of their skills? (TB and QoT don't count)
That's....more than a third of them....
Does anyone play sedna without the heal? No because you'd be a retard not to get an ability that can heal you in big chunks. Does that make her heal OP? Nope, just means its something that can turn a battle by giving you more staying power. Bite can be stopped by a number of things, but again, people don't care to counter it, they'd rather bitch like children.
You sound like you're assuming I implied that all other heroes are internally balanced too. They're not.&
When you're using a move that does a lot of healing not for the healing....seeing the problem yet? It did too many things too well. Now it will do them all still, but less well.
Goes to show if enough people complain about something there's probably something wrong with it.....
Think of it this way. Did anyone who played Erebus ever NOT get bite? No? Then clearly the ability is not balanced. Two solutions - nerf it, or buff all the other abilities until they are just as useful. Since cross balance demigod play would probably get screwed up by buffing everything else, bite got nerfed. Will you choose it every time now? If not, then the purpose is solved. Whether Erebus is now overall too weak compared to other demigod
Changing everything at once is a strong scientific approach. That way it will be easy to understand & interpret the results data later on. I feel so very confident in the devs now.
Yeah I'm sure the devs will start analyzing some replays of games after the nerf to see how things are working out and...oh, right.
Nice avatar
This will anger several, but I don't care either way.
-Oak's ultimate raise dead ward summons ghosts of Christmas past present and future which will scold Demigods who hoard their money instead of spending it on citadel upgrades for the good of everyone. -Erebus' bite has a chance to turn other heroes undead. While undead that hero also gains bite and the ability to spread the fun. -Queen of Thorn's Mulch Shambler creates an actual pile of mulch. Allied creeps can then begin a farm which will grow a variety of pr
Wow, you think maybe they're good at negating Heart of Life?
Yeah we need a third party banlist utility instead that everyone has to download and use if hosting a game otherwise you'll call them a noob and spam crap before leaving the game. The banlist must also be unreliable and the shared lists moderated by arrogant asses.
The point of the angels is not to add damage or anything, but to add distractions. Thanks to the sometimes buggy acquisition logic of enemy demigods they will often attack the angels. Since the angels are moving they'll miss (especially if they're a melee hero) and will then chase the angels, slashing harmlessly at air. Add to it that angels themselves will bug out and be stranded on random parts of the map you get scouts and distracting useless creeps that chip aw
Mashing a move action while using items is super risky, because of the lag it will often CANCEL your item use. If you are patient and wait until the item is actually used your risk standing there because of the bug. Extremely irritating.
I can't understand the words that are coming out of your keyboard
I don't think it will ever be possible to win 1v2 against good people, but you should be able to pull it over vs 2 average people if you are good. Not with the AI though - it's never possible.
This is a common problem. It happens to me quite often.
as is their accrued experience points
THAT would be broken, you'd shoot up like 5 levels if it was mid game....
....What? What are you complaining about, exactly? And what does Dota have to do with this?
It's funny that the most sensible solution seems to always be to do what is done on battle.net. It's not a coincidence. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel.
Seriously. Replays, being able to arranged team with friends, being able to choose which kind of random team you want to be matched with (2v2/3v3/4v4/etc), reliable matchmaking (No 2v1s), and NO AI. These are things you'd hope are standard. It is......disappointing.
Weak against buildings...? He's a general, you use the minions to tank buildings.
The option should definitely be given, but I also think it should be on by default. Or at the least a way to disable the AI in game if you don't want them. Melee heroes on AI are atrociously bad, ranged heroes merely intolerably bad. Regardless, once the AI gets involved the game is over.
Is Oak affected by applied debuffs when he is shielded? I.E. does ice Rain/Max Pounce/Shrapnel mines/Regulus maim/etc debuffs stick while he is under the effects of shield? If they do, bite should affect him as well (and the life drain should stay) If they do not, bite should not drain life.
I'd say TB is even better the more people there are. Of course you should not be going fire.....Ice Rain hitting multiple heroes is massive total damage dealt. High level Ice Nova is lots of stun. You just have to play like a complete coward to not get pounded on by multiple people.
Nice find Herakleion! +1 karma for that. Seems not the most fun way to play the game, but they sure get some easy stats. Its kinda shooting yourself in the foot though, since even though your stats go up, your skill wont, so you will get paired with opponents that are much higher skilled then yourself doing that... so eventually when they decide to play, they will just get owned bad.
When did exploiters ever car
