A vocal minority does not make a majority.
You based your thought that it would be a useful tool on this same vocal minority then. Or more likely, you don't care what people say. Admit it.

You're missing the point. The nerf may not even necessarily be because Erebus is overpowered in cross demigod matchups, but that he is not internally balanced. EVERY build includes Bite. This is a problem. This is not balanced. Thus, you must buff everything else, or nerf Bite. Since they're most likely worried about the cross balance if they buffed everything else, they nerfed Bite. Whether nerfing this one skill makes him underpowered in team ma
The Stormbringer is the only real way to increase caster damage late game (it reduces cooldowns). The damage difference is massive between the autoattack heroes like Regulus/UB and the skill damage heroes like TB. But the key is you can still deal decent damage and keep the debuffs on while your teammates clean up.
That can be taken in a couple of ways. Do you plan to eliminate the AI taking over for people who leave games as well? That's the real issue here.
In most strategy games I play I usually learn all the races and then go random. In Warcraft 3 I always played random. In Dota, I exclusively played ar. In games that weren't ar, I went -random. There is no random in Demigod. Why not? People try all sorts of shady manuevers as games start to switch Demigods in an attempt to counter the opponent's choices. Random negates this. Playing random also requ
The real problem with the towers is that you get nothing for killing them. Thus Rook can just leave towers EVERYWHERE with complete abandon. In Dota heroes that summon creeps needed to actually manage them so enemies couldn't get free gold and exp off killing them. Not so in Demigod in this case, so there's no reason to actually kill the towers. Since there's no reason at all to kill them (they die on their own after a time) people are just frustrated by their existe
Based on what I was reading and experiencing first hand I thought this might be a useful tool for the community.
Well as a majority of the community has now told you - you thought wrong.
Uproot is really underestimated, even late game a good 2k points of damage on a tower is quite a bit, especially since you can attack a tower as it is uprooted. You just have to get composting if you take uproot.
And that's the ONLY time it's good, maxed out. It should be useful the whole game.....
Centralized banlists have not and will never work. There is an extreme lack of authority and accountability. Anyone can ban anyone effortlessly. Additionally, there's not even any evidence - there's no replays to show what happened. Stats are bugged out so you can't even prove who was where. This is a failure.
Anytime its a game who cares
Why would anyone want to play with you?
You know, the character may have been designed with this ability integral to his gameplay. Try Sedna with no heals,
Again, you are assuming I think that other demigods are internally balanced. They are not. Sedna is a good example. The example of the internally balanced demigod is Torchbearer. There's many different ways to build him and they are all effective in different ways. The fabled "server split"?
Personal banlists are fine. I ran my own personal banlist for dota for a very long time and weeding out douchebags who you had seen leave your games before was a great help. As soon as you start talking about some centralized database or sharing lists is when the problems begin. There is simply no one with enough authority to moderate these mass bannings as legitimate or not.
Uh, because it hasn't happened yet.
Plus if the game goes late and everyone has artifacts, spit becomes a bunch of wasted skill points that you never really use.
It's not wasted. You still use it as enemies close to melee range. I mean, why not?
^ Can you restate that in a correct sentence? I'm not sure what you're raging against. You can take that sentence run-on in several ways.
It's good at level 4, but not really good until then. Level 1 it is hilariously bad. 500 damage? Many demigods have nukes that do nearly as much as that but also hit demigods or aoe......
If no one has left yet, you do not quit. Ever. If the game is intolerably laggy........maybe.
Why would they remove it?
Uproot needs serious buffs. Or the ability to use it on heroes. That would actually be decent, you know?
That's true, but you only can count on that wordless communication if you know the people you're playing with. I wouldn't trust some random I got matched with to react as I would without seeing them in action for a little while. So you need to talk to them.
It's one ability. When reducing the effectiveness of one ability "ruins" everything, you don't think you're overreacting? And if that one ability was so important - you don't see that as imbalanced?

Playing random also requires the most skill, obviously.
Weren't you complaining yesterday about how long it was taking for the patch to come out?
Everywhere I see people recommending opening 6000-6200 or such. Why so many ports? ImpulseReactionOptions only needs a range of 20. I have other games that use some of those ports that I play on another computer.
